This charmer has a covered rocking porch, eating porch that seats 20,
and an open deck overlooking the creek. It has 2 bedrooms, one that
has a king size bed and a twin size bunk bed set. The other bedroom
has one double bed and a double bed bunk bed set. There are 2
adjoining bathrooms, one with a tub/shower and the other a shower.
The generous gathering room has seating for 8 with one of the couches
holding a double mattress. It opens to a kitchen with gas oven and
cooktop and all the modern amenities you need. There is a gas grill
outdoors and a beautiful side yard to play softball and frisbee. It
is within a 5 minute walk to the rangers station, the Appalachian
trail museum and Fuller Lake. Laurel Lake is just an 8 minute car
ride where you can rent canoes. The hiking trails are spectacular
with the Appalachian trail passing through the state park.
Gettysburg and a miniature horse farm is less than a 1/2 hour away.
Water is pumped in from the sparkling creek and drinking water can be
provided at many wells around the park. There is a land line phone
and TV.
