     Description

Welcome to Whitewater Lodge, North Georgia's luxury trout fishing
cabin rental for the visitor looking for something special. This is
one of the most spectacular and dramatic settings in all of North
Georgia. Whitewater Lodge sits on the edge of Mountaintown Creek,
one of North Georgia's premier trout fishing streams. This property
is truly a trout fisherman's paradise, as a private and secluded get-
away for a weekend or longer. If you are looking for a secluded
wilderness setting with huge trees, incredible river frontage, noisy
water, and great trout fishing, Whitewater Lodge is for you. If you
are not into trout fishing you will no doubt enjoy this wonderful
riverside setting.

Conveniently located in North Georgia close to Blue Ridge and
Ellijay, Whitewater Lodge is about one hour out of Atlanta, with
easy automobile access. Attractions include Carters Lake, Lake Blue
Ridge, the Cohutta Wilderness, Rich Mountain Wilderness, and the
Toccoa River. Activities include trout fishing, hiking, cycling,
canoeing, kayaking, whitewater rafting, fly fishing, shopping and
more.

This portion of Mountaintown Creek is privately stocked, plus

     Attractions

We had wonderful time at Whitewater. Weather perfect and trout
cooperative. Many to the net and released with care. We look forward
to booking another visit.

Joyce happened to have our camera handy when I hooked one of the
larger trout. Thought you might enjoy.

February 22-25, 2007
On this, the fifth annual Raleigh-Lockwood winter fly-fishing
and wine drinking trip, we've found the best cabin in the North
Georgia Mountains! The fishing was fantastic - even in the cold of
winter, the two fishing husbands caught 25 incredibly large fish -
big, fat rainbows that fought hard and leapt with fervor.

Our recommendations - Olive wooly buggers, flash-back pheasant tail
nymphs, other nymphs with rubber legs, and copper johns.

The girls loved hanging at the cabin, warming themselves at the
fire, drinking red wine and solving (most) all of the world's
problems. The cabin has everything, and we loved our time here.
Thanks.

Thanks for a great cabin for a much needed rest. We didn't see a
soul so it was like being on a hidden stream tucked back in the
mountains. You have thought of everything to make a stay here very
comfortable. Oh….and did I mention the fishing? Over 50 in the net
and it's only February!! Again, thanks from both of us. We will be
back.

Carol,
Here are some trout pictures from this weekend. (See Above) It was a
great time had by all.

It was all that you said it would be and more! When we found
your cabin on the web, we wondered if the fishing could possibly be
as good as the stream looked.

Well, it truly was! We have fished Montana, Wyoming, Virginia,
and Colorado and our week here tops all other states.

We appreciate how you represented the cabin in our discussions
and how friendly you both have been.

We've rented cabins from Montana to Florida, N. Carolina, S.
Carolina, Georgia, and Tenn. Yours is the Best! We fished the whole
weekend and caught and released 30 fish on Sat. and 42 on Sun. What
a time we had!

What a beautiful place! Love the flowering bushes and
landscaping, not to mention the wonderful view and sound of the
water. Fishing was GREAT and we are looking forward to our next
visit.

We really appreciate the opportunity to share your wonderful
cabin in such a beautiful setting. And then to top it off with
fantastic fishing... almost too good to be true!
