The Apartment is set in a Rural area of Andalucia just outside Velez
Rubio Town.
It is a self contained new building recently completed.
Consists of:- 1 Double Bedroom with 2 single beds also sofa bed in
Lounge if needed, bedside table with lamp and radio, Wardrobe,
chest of draws and unit with 2 draws and cupboard for extra space.

The lounge has a dining area with Andalucian style kitchen which is
fully equipped, Breakfast bar with stools, Fridge Freezer, Hob,
double sink unit, kettle, Toaster, Microwave plus the sofa bed
sette, T.V. with D.V.D player + few dvds if you want a quite night
in. There is a log fire with logs also Gas Heater plus Air
Conditioning. Hair dryer and iron if needed. Internet access.

Large Bathroom with bath and shower, toilet, Bidet, wash basin also
unit with draws and cupboard. (Sheets and Towels provided and
changed weekly)

OUTSIDE:- There is a large arched Patio with BBQ which is under
cover with dining and seating area, a delightful place if you prefer
to sit outside for your breakfast or evening meal and look out at
the stunning mountain scenery surrounded by Almond and Olive trees
or watch the sun set or even the stars on a lovely clear summers
night, its breathtaking.
There is also a large court yard with centre fountain and at the end
of the Apartment outside there is a separate shower and changing
room with toilet. Use of swimming pool, sunbathing area with
loungers and chairs to relax in the sun and top up your tan.
New viewing area with seating looking down towards the village
surrounded by mountains and beautiful views where you can just sit
and relax or even paint.

The Apartment is set within the grounds of the Owners house (3
hectares) Separate giving you privacy but on hand to offer help
or advice (places to visit etc.) if needed.

A CAR IS ESSENTIAL. There is ample private parking and good access.



VELEZ RUBIO / Los Velez Area;

The Apartment is situated in the country side and within viewing
distance of Real Spanish Villages - Velez Rubio and Velez Blanco.
We are just under 10 minutes from Velez Rubio: Velez Blanco and
Maria National Park are near by and you can see the Castle at
Velez Blanco from the Apartment. The area of Los Velez is in the
north of the province and is home to the Sierra Maria - Velez
Natural Park, designated a Natural Park in 1987, it is a haven for
walkers and ornightolagists and covers an area of more than 22.000
hectares with altitude range of between 800m to 2,045 metres. It
supports a varied flora with nearly half of all plant species in
Almeria province found here, including some unique to the Sierra
The park also has the largest selection of bird species in
Andalucia, including 17 species of bird pray. The Castillo de
Fajaro, better known as the Castle of Velez Blanco sits upon a spur
of Mount Mahimon above the town of Velez Blanco. With magnificent
views through the Blanco valley, the castle appears on many post
cards, books and publications for the province of Almeria. It was
declared a National Monument in 1931.
All three villages are full of historical Moorish buildings and
there are many traditional Spanish Bars and Restaurants where you
can try some of the tipical tapas. There are also Banks, Shops,
Supermarkets, Chemist and a 24 hour medical centre. All three
local Towns hold weekly markets on different days incase you miss
one from 9am till 2pm selling the local produce, clothes,
jewellery and lots more., enjoy the lively atmosphere. The centre
of Velez Rubio has been compared to that of an open air museum. In
the main square (plaza) is a magnificent Boroque church, the largest
in the province, La Encarnation built between 1753 and 1768.


Throughout Spain , fiestas play an important part in the local
community and there are many fiestas celebrated throughout the
year. This is an ideal location for taking a relaxing holiday away
from it all but can take up the offer of some of the activities for
the more energetic in the area such as horse riding, mountain
climbing, cycling, golf, sight seeing (cave houses, castles and
historical architecture) paragliding, Quad Tours, diving,
painting or skiing in the Sierra Nevada.

There are 4 bikes available on site for the fit enthusiasts.


Alicante, Murcia, and Almeria are about 1.5 hrs drive away on good
motorway roads. All three airports are on the main E1 motorway,
which runs from the top of Spain via Valencia to Almeria in the
south. To reach Velez Rubio it is necessary to turn onto the
A91/92N at Puerto Lumbreras. This motorway eventually reaches
Granada (1.5 to 2 hrs) via Baza. At exit 408 signed A317 to Velez
Rubio and Velez Blanco follow the road for 1 mile and on driving
into Velez Rubio look for the "ONLY" PETROL STATION (BP colours) on
the left. A time will be arranged to greet you so you can be
escorted the short drive to Apartment Bueno Vista.

Each of the villages has a large public outdoor swimming pool
surrounded by trees with an ajoining bar and restaurant. Sites of
interest. (GRANADA) An inspiring City with one of the most
brilliant jewels of universal archiecture is the Alhambra, a series
of palaces and gardens built under the Nazari dynasty in the 14th C.
Well worth a visit.

TABERNAS - set between the Sierra de Alhamilla and Sierra de
Filabres in a barren landscape of canyons and rocky wasteland
reminiscent of the American Wild West.
A few decades ago when Western movies were the most popular
Hollywood legendary stars such as Clint Eastwood, Lee Van Cleef and
Charles Bronson strutted their stuff here in the dry heat on film
sets which some will remember from such great films as The Good ,
The Bad and The Ugly, A Fist Full of Dollars and The Magnificent
Seven. The movie lots have now become theme park tourist
attractions. There are three to visit; Mini Hollywood, Texas
Hollywood and Western Leone. All offer a fun day out in Europe’s
only desert region, with stagecoach rides, live shows, a zoo and the
opportunity to stake your thirst in the saloon.

COAST/BEACH - We are approximately 45 minutes drive away from the
coastal resorts of San Juan, Garrucha, Mojacar, Aguillas, and
Mazarron providing beautiful clean sandy beaches and rocky coves
with many international Restaurants along the front also gift shops
to browse around.. The old Town of Mojacar is well worth a visit,
undoubtedly the most romantic and picturesque resort town in south-
eastern Spain. Known as Almeria’s ‘Ronda’ - the white washed houses
and cobbled streets are sprinkled atop a hill overlooking pristine
sandy beaches. Maps and other information brochures available in


Golf courses are found in the Vera and Mojacar areas also Diving
trips. Vera playa (beach) has the only Water Park in the area -
With 3 swimming pools and a wonderful world of wild water rides and
water slides for all the family where you can take your own picnic
or eat at the restaurants. The Park is open from May till end of
September. Horse riding can be arranged and booked prior to holiday.
