     Description

If you're planning to book a holiday cottage in France, why not take
a closer look at our gites? We offer everything you'd expect from a
French cottage, but here at Les Crouquets you'll find that extra
something which will transform your vacation from a nice week away
to one of the best holidays you and your family have ever had!

Our cottages are perfectly situated, tucked away in a secluded
valley in the heart of the Dordogne countryside surrounded by walnut
groves and golden corn fields in a wonderfully tranquil setting.

You could be forgiven for thinking you had landed in the middle of
nowhere yet everything you may need is a 10 minute drive away in
Salignac.
Sight seeing is just as easy as most of the Dordogne tourist
destinations, such as Sarlat and Lascaux are within a 30 minute
drive from our door.In fact most of the major attractions, including
Rocamadour, are less than an hour away.
Plan your day over a leisurely breakfast on your terrace - we can
offer suggestions or even help out if your French is a bit rusty!

On those lazy, hot Summer days when you'd rather not be travelling
around, there is plenty to do at Les Crouquets.
Soak up the sun by the sparkling pool or relax with a good book from
our library. With acres of space to run around, an animal corner and
a huge games barn too, the children will never be bored!

We have internet facilities too, if you need to keep in touch with
the outside world, but we're sure once you're here, all thoughts of
the city will soon be left far behind.

We have much more information inside, so before you book your next
family holiday, come in and take a closer look!

Les Crouquets means "The Little Valleys"and it is here, tucked away
in the Perigord Noir, one of the most beautiful regions of France,
that you will find our 6 charming holiday cottages which date back
to 1882.

Each of the properties has its own distinct character and they are
grouped together in a delightful hamlet with their own private
terrace and most having views over the green oak covered hills. The
grounds are scattered with walnut trees & you are more than welcome
to help yourself to the various fruits in season.

With over 5 hectares of farmland and woodland Les Crouquets has many
secluded places ready to lend themselves to a moment or two of
peaceful contemplation.

A working farm, which can be seen from the grounds, is our only
neighbour and the village of Jayay is 1 km away.

All of our cottages have individual terraces, tables, benches &
barbecues and are fully equipped, including

· Ample crockery, pots etc for number of occupants
