Description

Lucille’s friendly non-smoking guesthouse is conveniently located on
a quiet lane near Green Island beach, just over two miles from the
centre of St Helier. It is the most southerly holiday accommodation
in the British Isles. I give a good breakfast and provide good value.

Package holidays may be arranged with big travel savings. I can book
flights and particularly good savings on ferry travel with free or
very low child fares often available.

Amenities

Double, twin and family rooms are available. All rooms have en suite
facilities and have colour TV and tea/coffee making. One room is on
the ground floor.

There is parking, an outdoor pool (heated in summer) central heating
and a bus route nearby.

Attractions

Green Island beach, about 200 metres. A very nice beach with clean
water.
Restaurant, refreshment kiosk. Public toilet facilities. An
exceptional low water environment, Ramsar Convention marine
conservation area.
Samares Manor (garden and manor house etc "attraction" with tea
room), less than one mile.
Mont Ube (ancient dolmen, walk, view) - less than one mile.
FB Fields, one mile (sports ground) - football / cricket pitches,
netball courts, athletics and table tennis clubs with excellent
facilities.
Recreation Grounds, a little over a mile. Tennis, squash, golf,
restaurant.
Bus stops to / from St Helier and Gorey (bus route 1), about 200
metres.
Local shop, newsagent, convenience store, open late - about 200
metres.
Marks & Spencer food hall (Simply Food) pharmacy and post office,
less than one mile
Methodist church, about 200 metres.
Anglican church, one mile.
Catholic church, one mile.
Pub with bar meals and restaurant, about one mile
Hotel with reasonably priced table d’hôte meals, about ¼ mile,

St Helier town centre - just over two miles. Bus, or walk along
coast / beach or inland via "green lane" part of the way. Full town
facilities including numerous pubs and restaurants.
Gorey village and harbour, Mont Orgueil Castle, shops, several pubs
and restaurants, the Jersey Pottery, about three miles. The bus goes
along the coast road, on foot or by car to go inland across country
roads is shorter.

Rates

Bed & breakfast from £20 to £35. Prices quoted are per person per night and vary with the season. The lowest prices are from October to April; the highest are from late July to mid August. Reduced rates are offered for children sharing a room with adults. Double or twin rooms may be offered for single occupancy at a small supplement, depending on the season. Payment is in cash (GBP, USD or Euro), travellers’ cheques (GBP only) or by credit / debit card. British bank cheques are accepted within the limit of a valid bank guarantee card. Alternatively, advance payment may be made in Euros to my French bank account.
