Enjoy a peaceful, quiet, comfortable stay in our Southwest Harbor, 2 bedroom cottage (sleeps 5)
nestled on a 1 acre wooded, private lot in a residential area just outside of town. It is located
within easy access of Acadia National Park's many hiking trails, ponds, lakes, Seawall , Echo
Lake Swimming Beach, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, other villages and attractions on Mount Desert
Island. Our home is a terrific place to relax, get a good night sleep, then be refreshed and
ready to go on your next adventure. Linens, towels, blankets, and pillows provided.

Acadia National Park is in the top 10 USA parks of MUST visit. Visit Thunder Hole, Cadillac
Mountain, the Park Loop Road, or Bar Harbor to take a whale watch tour or carriage ride. Come see

Acadia Dreamscape is a charming, family-friendly, home rental near Acadia National Park. It is a
New England style home(1120 sq/ft) located in quiet, peaceful, wooded, residential setting in
Southwest Harbor on the 'quiet side' of Mt Desert Island about 1 mile outside of town. Our home
has an open floor layout for large kitchen with all appliances, dining room, and a family room.
Also has 2 bedrooms each with a queen, one also has a single, and a full bath. All rooms
conveniently located on the first floor. Washer and Dryer located in the basement. Broadband WIFI
onsite. You can enjoy birds, wildlife, flowers, and stars in our yard. Use the picnic table,
grill, and lawn chairs to enjoy the outdoors. We have tried hard to make our home be the best

Our home is located 5 miles or less from Echo Lake Swimming Beach, Seawall, and Bass Harbor
Lighthouse. We are 1/2 mile, easy walk or drive , from the harbor. Though you can hear boat &
ferry horns, we do not have a water view from the house. We are located close to the towns of
Southwest Harbor and Bass Harbor which have bike/kayak/boat rentals, nature cruises, ferry,
shopping, golfing, fresh and salt-water fishing, restaurants/fine-dining, grocery store,
pharmacy, museums, and play ground. Easy access to Echo Lake, Long Pond Lake, biking and many
hiking trails. Only 15-25 minutes from Northeast Harbor & Bar Harbor. See Cadillac Mountain,
Thunder Hole, Jordan Pond House, Park Loop Road, or oceanarium. Go whale watching, take a
carriage ride at Wildwood Stables, or take a ferry to Swan's Island. Use the FREE Island
Explorer Buses to go anywhere on the Island and to Schoodic Point near Winter Harbor.

Our house has all the comforts of home with lots of little extras including spices, night lights,
flashlights, menus, cookbooks, etc... Cleaning fee is included FREE for weekly rentals. Gas
Grill and Picnic Table in the yard for your enjoyment along with Lobster pot. Cook some Lobsters
sold right in our circle. We offer information about restaurants, entertainment, activities for
adults and children, and activities in the National Park to suit your interests. Telephone
service anywhere in the USA. Puzzles, games, books, and DVD's for kids and adults in the house.
Some toys for children (blocks, trucks, etc...). The second floor is unfinished and
inaccessible. The building and premises are non-smoking. NO Pets. Possible occupied apartment
(separate structure & parking) on the premises.



Kitchen is fully equipped with everything needed to cook, bake, grill, and enjoy meals at home.
Also includes coffee maker, blender, toaster, crock-pot, lobster pot, dishwasher, ceramic glass top
stove, dishwasher, full-size refrigerator/freezer, and starter supplies of foil, cling wrap, paper
towels, toilet paper, soft soap, and dish soap. Many little extras included to make it feel like
home such as spices, nightlights, emergency lights, and cookbooks. Also has picnic table, lawn
chairs, and grill outside. Enjoy wildlife and flowers in garden right in the front lawn. Linens,
towels, blankets and pillows included. Cable TV and DVD player in the family room. This is a non-
smoking premises. No pets, please.



Close to Acadia National Park Activities, Ranger programs, Bar Harbor Oceanarium, Museums,
Repertory Theater, Echo Lake & Long Pond, Bass Harbor Lighthouse, Nature Cruises, and Seawall. You
may drive or catch the Free Island Explorer buses (in season) to go all over the island for hiking
(all levels of abilities), biking, kayaking, sailing, swimming, fishing, golfing, antiquing,
shopping, playing in tidal pools, eating Lobster, taking a carriage ride, or visiting Bar Harbor.
Do some sight-seeing of Somes Sound, lighthouses, Sergant Drive, and sun-set cruises. Take pictures
of the working harbors, learn about the lobster industry via boat tour or shop at the many stores
in town. Take in a show at the Repertory Theater, Criterion Theater, or Improv Acadia Dinner Show.
Enjoy eating out at places like, Thurston's or Beal's Lobster pounds, Brandon & Laura's, Quietside
Cafe, and Common Good Soup Kitchen.
