Dunvegan Lodge is a large beautiful Villa set up on the mountain
with sweeping views over the Clovelly Golf course and Fish Hoek
Valley.

The offers the option renting the separate one bedroomed suites, or
a 2 bedroomed apartment on a B&B or self-catering basis. There is
also the option of renting the full lodge as a self-catering Villa.


Each room is spacious, furnished with quality fittings and is
individually decorated and loved by all who stay here. The house is
a mixture between the Cape Farmhouse and Victorian style with
beautiful decks and patios all around the house, allowing each room
a private area where one could sit and either enjoy the views of the
fynbos (flora) covered mountainside or the magical vista over the
Fish Hoek valley. The Lodge has direct access to the hiking trails
and caves of the Silvermine Nature Reserve and is a 12-minute walk
to the beach. It is situated close to Clovelly Golf Club, which
boasts one of the finest 18 hole golf courses in the Peninsula, a
restaurant and bar.

Dunvegan Lodge is a special, beautiful lodge with a lovely garden
and is ideal for golfers, hikers, bird watchers, businessmen or a
romantic getaway.

General Facilities:
All bedrooms have TV's (with pay-channel), safes, hairdryers and
radio alarm clocks. Under floor heating, heaters and electric
blankets are provided in the bedrooms for the chilly Cape winter.
Linen and bath towels are provided and all rooms are serviced daily.
There is a full laundry service available or guests may use the
separate laundry facility themselves.

Business Facilities: Broadband wireless internet is available at no
additional cost.
Garaging: A double garage with automatic doors is available at an
extra fee. Off street parking is provided for 4 vehicles.
Swimming Pool: We have a beautiful swimming pool that makes the
garden and lodge very special.

Accommodation Details: The Lodge is both bed and breakfast and self-
catering and consists of:

The Main House (only available when rented as a Villa: (Sleeps 4):
A big family room which is open-plan to the dining room and kitchen.
This room has sliding doors onto the main front balcony which has a
stunning view over the golf course, the Fish Hoek valley and distant
Atlantic ocean. The family room also has a sliding door leading onto
the back patio, which faces the mountain. A lounge with a Jetmaster
fireplace, VCR and Hi-fi with CD player. The lounge has a sliding
door opening onto the main wooden deck. The kitchen is fully fitted
with a large fridge/freezer, stove, microwave and dishwasher.
Bedrooms: 1 luxurious bedroom with a queen size bed and en-suite
bathroom with a double shower and spa-bath. This bedroom has a
beautiful bay window in the front and also has sliding doors opening
onto the main balcony.
1 double bedroom with twin beds and private bathroom with a shower
only. This room has sliding doors onto a small sun room(facing the
mountain).

Separate Self-Contained Suites - Bottom Floor:2 one bedroomed
suites - sleeping 2 people per suite):
Both suites have a Lounge / dining room and kitchenette combined
with sliding doors onto a balcony with outdoor furniture and
barbecue facility and lovely views over the golf course to distant
Atlantic Ocean.
The Bay Suite has a queen size bed and lovely en-suite bathroom with
double shower and luxury bath. This bedroom has a bay window with
beautiful views over the valley.
The Pool Suite has twin beds (which can be made up into a king size
bed on request with an en-suite bathroom (shower only).

Separate Self-Contained Flatlet - The African Attic: (Sleeps 4):
Separate entrance from the mountain side deck. Lounge / dining room
and kitchenette combined with sliding doors onto deck facing the
mountain with outdoor furniture and barbecue facilities and lovely
views of the mountain.
Bedrooms: Two en-suite bedrooms, one on either side of the lounge.
The main bedroom has a queen size bed and lovely en-suite bathroom
with shower and bath. The other bedroom has twin beds with an en-
suite bathroom (shower only). Both bedrooms have windows facing the
mountain.
Separate Self-Contained Cottage: Lounge / dining room and
kitchenette combine. The lounge has sliding doors opening onto a
large balcony with outdoor furniture and a Weber BBQ. Separate
bedroom with a queen size bed and en-suite bathroom with bath and
separate shower.
The Studio: A bedroom with twin beds and a small kitchenette area.
Full en-suite bathroom. The bedroom has a sliding door which opens
onto a lovely sheltered patio with outdoor furniture and BBQ.
