Apartments can be reserved separately or together. 10 / 11 people &
baby can be accommodated between the 2 apartments.

Prices from Euros 99 per person per week (based on 4 occupancy),
dependent on time of year. From time to time we run late deals -

PLEASE NOTE, before you read any further.. Manilva / Puerto de
Duqeusa & Sabinillas (all within 5 miles of each other) are not your
typical British Holiday Resort, e.g. Magaluf or Benidorm, full of
burger bars and fish & chip shops, and drunken brits. This area is
very upmarket and not frequented by Package Tours. If you like
package tour holdiays and do not like doing your own thing then
Manilva is not the place for you!! Whilst they are upmarket places
the prices do not reflect the very expensive prices that you will
find in Marbella & Puerto Banus.

Bedrooms
Offering option of 1 double ensuite bedroom and 1 twin bedded room,
with luxury double sofa bed in the lounge (note: this is not a "put
me up", but a proper bed of the same high quality as the other beds.
* Bedrooms have shutters on the windows so they can be as dark or
cool as you wish.

Kitchen Fully fitted with marble counters, and luxury equipment
(e.g.
Meyer pans), modern dinner service, top class cutlery and everything
you need to cook anything from a snack to the Christmas dinner.

The kitchen is fitted with Bosch appliances: large American style
fridge / freezer, washing machine & dishwasher, oven and ceramic
hob,
microwave, large George Foreman Grill (idea for breakfast time),
toaster, coffee machine, kettle, ironing board & iron.

For those of you not interested in cooking then there is an
extensive
choice for eating out locally - see below guide on eating out locally

Other activities include riding, sailing, polo, diving, walking,
water park for the children & Selwo wildlife reserve not far away.
Culture and history can be found in the cities of Cadiz, Codoba,
Estepona, Granada, Jerez, Seville &, Malaga, with a trip to
Gibralatar only 20 mins drive down the road.

El Oasis de Manilva is on the coast between Sabinillas and
Sotogrande, within sight of Gibraltar and has breathtaking sea views
over the coast of Africa, located 10 minutes west of Esteponia, 4 km
from Puerto de la Duquesa and Sabinillas, and 5 minutes from the
exclusive marina of Sotogrande. Marbella and Puerto Banus are only
30
minutes away.

El Oasis has the advantage of being exceptionally easy to find - its
grand white entrance arch cannot be missed from the coastal road
(located between Puerto de la Duquesa / Sabinillas and Sotogrande).

Manilva, Duquesa & Sabinillas on the southern part of the Costa Del
Sol, only 50km from the coast of Africa, enjoy a pleasant micro
climate, which makes them the ideal “all year round” holiday
destination.

The beauty of this area is that it doesnt close up after the holiday
season, it’s possible to “holiday all year round” in this area.

If it rains in Nov or Feb then there are still lots of things to do
and places to go.

The areas mild climate is the root attraction that makes it possible
to enjoy the beaches and a wide variety of outdoor activities year
round.

While the rest of Europe battles wind, rain and snow, the Costa del
Sol enjoys an average twenty-six days of sunshine each January.
Rainfall is scarce and temperatures mild.

With less than fifty days of rain per year, draughts often threaten
in the summer months. The typical rainy season lasts just four
months, stretching from November to February. But even when
umbrellas
and raincoats are the order of the day, the thermometer rarely dips
below a mild 13º C from December to March.


EATING OUT LOCALLY (a full information pack is available in the
apartment)

If you do not want to go far then there are 2 local beach bars which
serve excellent food (in particular fish and meat) which are very
reasonably priced. There is also the Playa Parisa Restaurant
(Moroccan), just across the road, which serves excellent food of all
varieties, and has live entertainment some evenings.

Only 3-4 kms up the road is the Puerto de la Duquesa where there is
every restaurant imaginable: typical Spanish, Italian (including
Speciality Pizza) Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Sea Food, Good
Old British Pub Food, Steak Houses - basically there is anything you
need in the port and more… Sabinillas is a small town next door to
the port, it is very typically Spanish with very little tourist
influence, however there are some fantastic restaurants on the sea
front and tapas bars in the narrow streets.

About Manilva:

El Oasis de La Paloma is a small exclusive complex with just 21
apartments on the coast between Sabinillas and Sotogrande, within
sight of Gibraltar and has breathtaking sea views over the coast of
Africa, located 10 minutes west of Estepona, 4 km from Puerto de la
Duquesa and Sabinillas, and 5 minutes from the exclusive marina of
Sotogrande. Marbella and Puerto Banus are only 30 minutes away.

Manilva is one of the best kept secrets in Andalusia. The Village
(pueblo) of Manilva is in the hills 130 metres above sea level.

On the coast you will find Sabinillas, Peurto de la Duquesa, with
it’s quaint marina, and the traditional fishing village of Castillio,
which are all part of the Manilva Municipality.

Sabinillas (5km from our apartments) is a small town next door to
Duquesa Marina. Sabinillas is typically Spanish with very little
tourist influence. There are some fantastic restaurants on the sea
front, and tapas bars in the narrow streets back from the lovely
beach front, and in and behind the small square on the main street
near to the taxi rank. Sabinillas has Blue Flag Beach status and life
guards.

Duquesa Marina (4 km from our apartments) has an array of restaurants
with every cuisine imaginable: typical Spanish, Italian (including
Speciality Pizza) Mexican, Indian, Chinese, Japanese, Sea Food, Good
Old British Pub Food, Steak Houses - there is anything & everything
you need in the Marina, and more!

You can stroll along the beach front from Sabinillas into Duquesa
Marina, and if you keep walking your next port of call will be
Castillio (3 km from our apartments), a tiny ancient Spanish fishing
village with some excellent fish restaurants. Castillo de la Duquesa
has an 18 Century fortress on the edge of the village that makes the
unspoilt Castillo so attractive.

The ancient white village of Casares is just a 30 minute drive from
El Oasis de la Paloma de Manilva. Within a few minutes drive are
world championship golf courses such as Valderrama, Sotogrande,
Alcaidesa and the San Roque Club as well as many others.

It is recommended to hire a car for holidays in the Manilva area as
there are so many things to do for all age groups. It is an ideal
base for sightseeing or just relaxing, If you do not want to hire a
car from Malaga or Gibraltar Airport then Brunos who are based
locally in Duquesa Marina offer all offer an excellent service,
whereby you can just hire a car for a few days of your holiday, and
relax on the lovely beaches and watch the world go by at a pavement
café during the time you do not have a car. Should you not wish to
hire a car at the airport then there are many transfer services
available.

If you do want to venture further afield then Manilva is a great
location for visiting other parts of Andalusia or Southern Spain,
such as the cities of Cadiz, Cordoba, Granada, Jerez de la Frontera,
Malaga & Seville, and are all within easy reach and steeped in their
own history and culture.

Other activities include riding, sailing, polo, diving, walking,
water park, wildlife, culture and history.


Getting here

Manilva is just a 1 hour journey from Malaga’s International Airport
that is served by low cost airlines from all over Europe and long
haul international scheduled flights from all over the world. If you
are traveling from the UK then Fly Monarch, BMI Baby, Ryan Air, Easy
Jet, and Thompson Fly to name but a few can get you to Malaga
cheaply.

From Continental Europe and Scandinavia, there is also a wide choice
of airlines to choose from, being; Air Estonia, Lufthansa, Air
France, KLM, Sterling Air, SAS, German Wings, Air Berlin and Span Air
all serve Malaga Airport, as well as the British Airways daily
flights from the UK.

Gibraltar is just a 20 minute drive from Manilva and served by
British Airways, Fly Monarch, and Easy Jet. You can pick up a car in
Gibraltar from Brunos who are based locally in Duquesa Marina or from
Car Jet who have recently started offering Car Hire from La Linea
which is on the Spanish side - you are only a 20 minute drive from
Manilva.
