The area itself is stunningly beautiful and dependent on what you
want from a holiday there is something for everyone. From the Côte
de Granit Rose - The Pink Granite Coastline, which offers stunning
rock formations that are actually pink! Through to several sandy
beaches, some being wheelchair accessible with beach wheelchairs
available, some have childrens clubs, activities available
throughout the summer months.
The more sporting amongst us may want water sports, surfing,
sailing, kite surfing, diving, etc - anything you can think of can
be found. Quad biking and Karting, horse riding and paint balling,
this list is endless!
For more traditional holidays the area is steeped in Breton
tradition and culture, with cathedrals, chateau, churches, medievel
architecture, market squares all in abundance.
Local markets held everyday of the week all offer sights, sounds and
smells that only a French market can give you....from the fresh food
on sale through to clothes, pots an pans and even the kitchen sink,
you can buy anything and everything.
Through out the summer months the markets run into the evening and
offer musical street entertainment, with local dancing, local music
and great food all within the town market square. Fest Noz and Fest
Diez are local get togethers held throughout the year - just a great
excuse to have a dance and a fair amount to drink really in Breton
Something not to be misses!
