Apartamento Azul is a fantastic modern apartment right in the heart
of Praia da Luz. It is incredibly spacious at 156m², has two large
bedrooms and can sleep up to 6 people (plus cot). The apartment is
the largest in an exclusive new development of 8 apartments in the
Rua Direita with their own pool and fabulous roof terrace with
stunning views in all directions including to the sea and cliffs
overlooking the bay-a great place to sunbathe! The apartments also
have their own locked parking area under the building and Apt Azul
has its own locked 2 car garage within this. Apartamento Azul has 3
private balcony/terraces, 2 sea facing and the third overlooking the
pool. They make a lovely spot for outdoor dining a BBQ (supplied) or
simply sitting with a relaxing pre-dinner drink! Both spacious
bedrooms and the huge light airy lounge dining room have air-
conditioning. The kitchen is modern and very well fitted and
equipped. The whole apartment is very tastefully and well furnished.



Lounge and Dining Area The lounge is large and comfortably
furnished. It is cool, light and airy and an ideal relaxation spot.
It has a wide screen modern TV with DVD and satellite TV. There is a
CD/radio cassette player and bookshelf with supply of books and a
few games.There is a large dining table with 6 chairs.The kitchen is
accessed through a large archway from the dining area. It is a
lovely room with balconies to both front and rear aspects.The front
balcony is sea facing and overlooks the road, so you can sit and
watch the comings and goings in the street below. The rear balcony
overlooks the pool.

Bedrooms and Bathrooms The main bedroom has a double bed with patio
doors out to a sea facing balcony. There is a dressing area with
wardrobes and space for a cot or folding bed for a child.This leads
through to the full en-suite bathroom with bath, over bath shower,
bidet basin and toilet. The second bedroom has twin beds and is very
large with ample space for an additional 1 or 2 folding beds
(supplied) if required. This can make it an ideal room for a
children's room for a larger family (we have 4 children!).Without
the additional beds it is a lovely spacious room for 2 people of any
age! It has patio doors opening onto one of the front, sea facing
balconies. The second bathroom is accessed from the large entrance
hall and like the en-suite is a full bathroom with bath, over bath
shower, bidet, basin and toilet.

Additional Facilities Offered We have local management agents who
will visit you at the start of your holiday.The maid will clean
twice a week, change-over day and half way through the week, and
change the linen weekly. The permanent beds in the apartment
accommodate four people and there are two folding beds supplied that
can be used to sleep 2 additional people, either one per bedroom or
both in bedroom 2. Alternatively you may prefer to accommodate 2
additional people on the double sofa bed in the lounge. All bed
linen and towels for apartment use are supplied, but please bring
towels for poolside and beach use. Cot and high chair hire can be
organised for you. . The prices for hire of these items are: cot £22
per week, high chair £7 per week. A food and supplies delivery from
a local supermarket can be arranged for your arrival. They make no
charge for delivery, but as a result will only accept orders of a
value of £22 or over.



Apartamento Azul is only a very short 5 minute walk to the lovely
family beach at Praia da Luz and there are supermarkets only 3
minutes walk away and many restaurants within a 5 minute walk. Praia
da Luz is a great family resort towards the western end of the
Algarve coast. It has a lovely sandy beach approximately half a mile
long and backed by a palm tree lined promenade. At the eastern end
of the beach there are spectacular cliffs and at low tide there are
rock pools that adults and children alike will love to explore.
Praia da Luz has plenty of restaurants which range from cafes and
beach bars through bar/restaurants and bistros to plush restaurants.
There are several supermarkets, shops and boutiques, a chemist,
bank, internet café, post office and a medical centre where good
English is spoken. The lovely town marina and beaches of Lagos are
only a 10 min drive. Within 30 mins drive are surf beaches,water
parks,castles,marine parks and zoos and a large modern shopping

Golf Information The Algarve is world renowned for its golf courses
and you will be spoilt for choice!There are numerous excellent golf
courses within a 30 minute drive,including Penina and Parque de
Floresta. The closest course, Boavista is located a 5 minute drive
away between Lagos and Praia da Luz and part of the course can be
seen from the front balcony and roof terrace. The apartment has a
locked 2 car garage within the secure ground floor communal garage
so there is plenty of space to store clubs etc. There is also ample
space for this within the apartment itself if you prefer. If you

10th March -31st March £400 per week 31st March -26th May £450 per week 26th May -14th July : £550 per week 14th July -1st September £675 per week 1st September-29th September £450 per week 29th September-27th October £400 per week Nov - mid March £200 for 2 people, £250 for 3 people, £300 for 4 people and so on at £50 extra per head to a maximum of 6 people. Longer duration rentals of over 2 weeks are also available for this period at a lower rate;-please contact us for more details. Please note that for bookings at these low winter rates energy consumption is not included in the rental cost and will be charged as an additional cost from meter readings taken at the start and end of your stay. Our booking terms are 25% non-refundable deposit at booking with the balance payable 8 weeks before the start of your holiday. We can accept payment by cheque or bank transfer in either pounds sterling, euros or US dollars. We can also accept payment by credit card via Paypal, but a 4% charge will be made for this facility. A security deposit of £200 is payable with the balance 8 weeks before the start of your holiday and is refunded (less any deductions necessary for damage or loss) approximately 3 weeks after you leave the apartment.
