Description

Miro is a ground floor, pretty, romantic apartment with an amazing
spiral staircase leading to an oak galleried double sleeping area.
There is another smaller lounge with a double sofa bed which can
easily be converted into a double bedroom. There is ample storage
space and extra bedding in the wicker blanket box. There is a large
open plan fully fitted and equipped kitchen, dining and classical
style lounge area

Attractions

Miro is in the heart of the mediaeval 'Castle' area, across from the
Hilton, a short walk from St Matthias Church and views over the
Danube. Atmospheric cafes and restaurants, bookstores and antique
shops surround Miro and there is almost no traffic because the whole
area is a World Heritage site

If you turn right away from the Miro café and first left through an
archway, you will find a small general store on the next left hand
corner, good for fresh ‘kifli’ (rolls) milk etc.

If you are going to turn your hand to serious Hungarian or other
cuisine, take the little bus down to Moszkva ter and head to the big
Mammut (Mammoth - with a statue of a mammoth in front of it, just in
case you’re not sure) shopping centre. There is a proper supermarket
in its basement, as well as a really interesting array of shops, a
floor of good eateries and a many screened cinema with at least some
English films.
