Kitsilano Cottage, the structure, is a heritage designation qualified 1910 Craftsman bungalow,
typical of the Kitsilano neighbourhood. It has been meticulously restored and ethically upgraded to
provide modern living convenience while maintaining architectural integrity with its origins.

A Suite @ Kitsilano Cottage is a single, upscale, self-contained, garden level suite, of
approximately 825 sq. ft. There are two bedrooms. One has a king size bed and the other a queen size
bed. There is, a queen sofa bed in the living room. The furnishings are a blend of antique and
authentic hardwood reproductions in the Craftsman, Arts & Crafts, Mission or, as our guests from the
United Kingdom fondly refer to it, Macintosh style.



The suite has a private entry, patio, separate private phone line, flat screen Plasma-TV with DVD
player and digital cable, Broadband Internet access by Ethernet and WiFi, bookshelf stereo with
FM/CD/Cassette and a library of British Columbia artists’ music, a single bathroom with tub/shower,
full Cook’s kitchen facilities including smooth top self-cleaning stove, side-by-side
refrigerator/freezer with chilled, filtered water, ice and crushed ice dispenser, microwave,
toaster, blender, kettle, espresso machine, drip coffee maker, pots & pans, full compliment of
glassware, dishes, cutlery and cooking utensils and in suite laundry facilities.

Please note, A Suite @ Kitsilano Cottage does not allow pets, however we can recommend boarding
services for the same. Note also that we are a non-smoking facility. While cigarette smoking outside
is permitted, absolutely no smoking indoors is allowed.



Kitsilano District - Clearly one of the most desirable urban residential neighbourhoods in the
world. It is cosmopolitan and near the warming influence of the waterfront, keeping the weather in a
moderate range year around. An area typified by its myriad Arts and Crafts design homes, lush
gardens, green spaces and its chic business areas. Most of the very finest restaurants and nightlife
venues in all of Greater Vancouver, a city renowned for its great food, are within walking distance.
Both wonderful boutique shopping and several beaches, again all within easy, safe walking distance,
supplement this.

Granville Island - A must on any visitor’s list, Granville Island is
built around a Public Market and a devotion to the Arts. Theatres,
artist studios and fine dining venues abound. Or rent a boat or kayak
and tour the beautiful waterways that define this city’s natural

Downtown and Stanley Park - Just across the Burrard Street Bridge, an
Architectural highlight itself. The downtown core offers the
cosmopolitan appeal of Robson Street, shopping at some of the most
recognized names from Paris to Rodeo Drive and boundless nightlife,
cultural venues. Enjoy the wonderful mix of architecture from the
earliest days of Vancouver to today. All this is immediately adjacent
the jewel of the crown, Stanley Park. Whether you choose to walk,
roller blade or cycle its Seawall or visit the Aquarium there is
something for everyone through each season of the year here.



Reflecting demand and offering stays as short as 30 consecutive days, we need to reflect the difference in demand, in our rates. So we operate on a 2 Season Rate structure. RATES: In Canadian Dollars: Low Season: October 16th - April 30th. Rent is $3,300.00/month High Season: May 01st - October 15th. Rent is $3,800.00/month Both Seasons, there is a no mark up monthly utilities reimbursement fee of $217.00/month To secure a rental, we require a British Columbia Residential Tenancy Act based rental contract be signed and initialed and submitted with both a $1,920.00 refundable Damage Deposit and a Post Move Out Clean Up Fee of $192.00 (not refundable) Rent is due prior to the beginning of the occupancy and prior to the beginning of all subsequent months of occupancy. All payments are to be in cash, bank transfers, Interac, PayPal or Western Union fund transfers. Fees apply to all but cash payments. Cancellation Policy: 60 Days Reservations not cancelled 60 days prior to the proposed occupancy date, will be billed the full stay, total amount. If we are able to sell the time, or part of it, to another party, those proceeds can be refunded. The maximum amount is up to the cost of your contracted duration, less a administrative fee of $300.00, to recover administrative overhead costs.
