Description

- Located on one of the first roads to be plowed after a storm. Flat
parking area for 5 cars. Walk to Cross Country Ski Area or to lifts
at Tahoe-Donner.

- Our congenial group is 12 max (looking for two more members)
starting our 20th year. We are a mix of various professions
(computer, architecture, engineering, medical, legal, etc) aged 30
to 65 who enjoy a great ski day followed by stimulating conversation
and laughs over wine and good food. We often do a group dinner with
everyone pitching in for a portion of the meal and then retire
early.

- Our well-tuned reservation system runs smoothly and allows each
member 2 weeks of priority access to the best bedroom. This system
maximizes choice while minimizing hassle.

- About half of the members usually ski mid-week, so weekends are
generally not too crowded. Members typically use the cabin 10-25
days (averaging about 15) each season.

Amenities

- 3BR, 2BA, sleeps 8+. 1 king, 1 queen, 2 singles, 1 queen couch in
living room, huge master bedroom. Blowup queen for overflow. Dining
table expands to seat 10.

- Membership includes all utilities, snow removal, house cleaning
service and access to Trout Creek Recreation (hot tub, sauna, heated
pool, etc). Satellite TV, stereo, washer/dryer, gas stove heater

Attractions

- Easy access (20-30 mins) to major ski areas: Squaw Valley, Alpine
Meadows, Northstar, Sugar Bowl, Royal Gorge

Rates

- Fees come from two sources: membership and guests. Our basic membership fee for one person is $1000 but this works out to $675/person when a couple joins ($1000 + $350 guest fees for, say, a 15 day season). Guest/spouse fee is $25 Fri/Sat, $18 weekdays. - No deposit required…it comes from our financial “kitty” established in past years.
