     Description

Come enjoy our quaint and friendly seaside village, fragrant beach
roses; eagles, heron and gulls, views of Cadillac Mt.; and less than a
mile to Acadia National Park's Schoodic Point on the rockbound coast
of Maine.

Our townhouse is NOT in a condo complex surrounded by parking lots.
This charming home is in a lovely neighborhood setting and has its own
private deck & yard, and is walking distance to restaurants, shops,
and the ocean harbor.

NOTE: Contact me via my email link below.
Inquiry by phone is least efficient - email strongly preferred.

Newly decorated and furnished, our fully equipped 3 bedroom, 1.5 bath
home is in quaint Winter Harbor on the Schoodic Peninsula. This lovely
townhouse in a charming Downeast Maine fishing village will welcome
you home every day of your vacation.

Connected by ferry (June - August) to lively Bar Harbor, but nestled
in a quieter, authentic Downeast Maine coastal village, near many
breaktaking views. Arts events available throughout summer.

You'll have access to the private deck overlooking the fenced-in
backyard w/views of gorgeous sunsets over Cadillac Mountain. And the
broad night sky is a black sea of stars. (We'll tell you about a spot
where there is so little light pollution that you'll see a sky you
probably have never seen before...and a resident porcupine.)

Easy stroll to ocean harbor. Bar Harbor ferry, restaurants, antiques,
art, small supermarket, the famous Winter Harbor 5&10 - all within
walking distance.

Less than one mile to the entrance of Schoodic Point section of Acadia
National Park, considered by many the most dramatic scenery and surf
in the park.

*Great bicycling!* *Great hiking, kayaking, or touring by car.*

The Schoodic Loop road winds its way past marshes, ocean coves &
harbors, past the Winter Harbor lighthouse, pine topped
islands, and dramatic granite outcroppings. On clear days Petit Manan
Light is visible. Visitors are sometimes treated to sightings of seals
and porpoises.

Grindstone Neck yacht harbor, golf, and additional heart-tuggingly
beautiful scenery are close by, as is Frazer Point oceanside picnic
area and fishing pier, complete with tidal pools.
