     Description

Aloha and E komo mai (Welcome) to our studio condo which we have
proudly named Hale a u’lani (House of Beautiful Skies). When you
enter our little Hawaiian hideaway you will be immediately drawn to
the spacious lanai overlooking the beautiful Pacific Ocean. From
our second-floor location your senses will be dazzled by the sights
and sounds of Maui and all of the beauty you have dreamed about for
your Maui vacation.

Resting just 20 feet from the water’s edge you will experience
vibrant rainbows, spectacular sunsets, unmatched views of the
islands of Moloka’i and Lana’i and the Humpback Whales playfully
coming to greet you during their season. (No binoculars needed)

As spectacular as the beauty is outdoors … we encourage you to come
inside, make yourself at home, and experience the comfort of our
condo; styled with classic Hawaiian furnishings and decor.

Once the warm Maui sun has set … enjoy preparing your meals in our
fully-equipped kitchen, or sit back and enjoy one of the many DVDs
that we have provided for you. Or if you prefer, mix up your
favorite beverage, choose from one of the many Hawaiian Music CDs
provided, and just relax on the lanai.

With all the beauty and excitement that surrounds you, at some point
it will be time for sleep. Curl up in the queen size bed and let
the sound of the ocean set the stage for a peaceful night’s rest.
For additional space the sofa also pulls out to reveal a comfortable
queen sleeper.

While on Maui, however you choose to spend your vacation, you will
find the amenities available at our complex a good starting point;
two relaxing pools, barbecue areas, and tennis courts are all
available for your enjoyment.

There are a wide variety of beaches in the area to choose from.
Beginning with our own Kahana Beach located just a few steps from
the condo to the beaches of Ka’anapali, Kapalua and Napili; you are
a 2 minute walk to a 5 minute drive from the beaches of your
choice. We are in the middle of it all. No matter what kind of
beach you are looking for … from rocky tides pools to explore, to
wide sandy stretches, they are all here for you and your family.

We are nicely situated in Kahana between Ka’anapali and Kapalua;
for dining and shopping you are a short walk to the fine restaurants
and shops at the Kahana Gateway Center or a short drive to the world-
class shopping found in Kapalua, Napili, Lahania, and Ka’anapali.

For more details on our condo and our resort’s amenities please see
the amities list provided on this site. ALSO, please look for the
link to our personal website … we have packed even more information
there for you.

Mahalo for choosing us for your Hawaiian Vacation.

     Attractions

Following are just a few ideas near-by:

Snorkeling

Whale-watching (RIGHT FROM THE LANAI) - Season in Kahana is from
November - May

Surfing/Windsurfing - If you didn't bring your own equipment it can
be rented on the island. Enjoy some of the best waves and
windsurfing anywhere.

Shopping - The Gateway Shopping Center is only 1 block away. There
you will find restaurants, a coffee shop/internet café, an art
gallery, and shops providing locally-made and imported items. For
the more serious shopper, visit Whalers Village (just a 5 minute
drive) in Ka’anapali or the shops and galleries in Lahina Town (just
a 10 minute drive).

AND WHATEVER YOU DO, DON’T MISS THE SUNSETS FROM THE LANAI - OR
WHILE TAKING A WALK ON OUR OWN KAHANA BEACH.

And here are a few ideas for short trips around Maui:

Makena Beach (Big Beach & Little Beach)

Poli Poli Sate Park

Hana

Kahakuloa Village & Kaukini Gallery

Traveling along the West Coast is one of the most scenic drives on
the island. Past the Nakelele Blowhole and the Olivine Pools Highway
340 narrows considerably for about 1 ½ miles as it descends the
mountain and enters Kahakuloa Village, one of the few
remaining "truly Hawaiian" villages.

This community is one of the most isolated spots on Maui and most of
the residents work in and around the village. Aina Anuhea Tropical
Gardens, Kaukini Gallery and Bruce Turnbull Studio and Sculpture
Garden are a few examples of local businesses.

Kaukini Gallery sits high on the hill above Kahakuloa Village, and
it is teaming with works of art from local artisans.

Honolua Bay - Honolua Bay Beach located in Kapalua is a must see
destination. There is only a small sand beach here, so most water
activities involve snorkeling, scuba diving, and surfing.

Haleakala Crater - Sitting high above the Island of Maui at
approximately 10,000 ft is the crater of the volcano Hale a Ka La
(House of the Sun God). Take the time to drive up to the beautiful
and un-earthlike destination.

Hookipa Beach - Hookipa is just past Paia on the way to Hana. They
say that more windsurfing footage is shot at Hookipa than any other
place in the world.

La Perouse Bay - Located in the 'Ahihi Kina'u Natural Area Reserve,
this bay is a protected by state law. The entrance to the water is
very rocky but the snorkeling can be excellent during calm seas.
Several trails inland traverse the area which is covered in rough
lava from the last eruption of Haleakala in 1790. King's Highway, an
ancient Hawaiian footpath, continues from the bay toward Cape
Hanamanioa.

Upcountry, East Maui - In addition to the spectacular volcano
Haleakala the section of East Maui known as "upcountry" is full of
wonderful surprises:

Tedeschi Vineyards and Winery - Sample award winning wines in a
spectacular upcountry setting. Tasting room is open daily from 9am -
5pm; free guided tours are offered 7 days a week at 10:30am and
1:30pm.

Surfing Goat Dairy - Located in Kula ... surrounded by a coconut
grove and an orchard of fragrant citrus trees ... this working goat
farm is a producer of more than 25 varieties of gourmet cheeses. A
winner of nine national awards, Surfing Goat Dairy is a great
destination for any true "cheese-lover."

Makawao - A place where Hawaii meets Texas ... In Makawao the word
rodeo puts a sparkle in the eyes of the local Paniolos (cowboys); an
upcountry destination that provides a beautiful backdrop for horse-
back riding excursions and picnics on grassy slopes.

And a Quick List of some additional activities for you:
