Enjoy a glorious setting with 120 feet of beach and a huge lakeview
luxury hot tub! On spacious private grounds on a beautiful West
Shore point, the historic 1910 Tahoma Boathouse offers sunrise to
sunset panoramic views over vast Lake Tahoe. A lovely home with loads
of charm, it offers a unique experience blending luxury and lakeside

Live the early Tahoe glory days of the early 1900's surrounded by
vintage details, original wood paneling on all walls and ceilings
throughout the house, and the tasteful mix of antiques and fresh new
furnishings. The home has lots of room with several view-filled
living areas, a large country kitchen/dining room, and wrap-around
deck on the upper level, and three bedrooms and an attached 1 bedroom
apartment on the lower level. Two rustic cabins for two more bedrooms
are included in summer . This is one of Tahoe's earliest estates,
constructed beginning in 1906.

Spacious forested grounds with outdoor stone fireplace and patio and
ping-pong table, level lakeside lawn, and a sand beach now that the
lake level is low, give lots of areas for playing and conversing.
Relax on chaises on a terrace above the beach. A buoy is right in
front for our guests, and a neighboring pier is available for
boaters. Gas and charcoal grills for outdoor cooking are on the
lakeside deck.

Not a typical party house, this house is appropriate for discerning
guests who will appreciate the historic charm of the home.
Completely updated with thermal pane windows, insulation, natural gas
hydronic heat, and tasty local well water, the house is fully
equipped for gracious entertaining. The property is accessed via a
quiet lane a block off the main road. The long paved driveway and
grounds offer plenty of parking.



Leave your cars--our guests love the easy stroll to the country
market with its great deli sandwiches, groceries and wine selection.
You'll find a pizzeria, coffee bar, post office, video shop, kayak
rentals, and two nice restaurants. Hike and bike on trails leading to
Sugar Pine Point and Emerald Bay state parks with beaches, national
forest, Desolation Wilderness. A meandering paved bike path makes its
way along the shore to Tahoe City, down the Truckee River all the way
to Squaw Valley. Wonderful hiking, biking, swimming and boating in
the summer. Great skiing just 1 mile away at Homewood Mountain Resort.



Summer Season May 18 - June 15, September 15- Oct. 15: 4 night minimum June 15 - October 5: 1 week minimum, house with apartment only June weeks run from Thursday afternoon arrival through Wednesday night. July & August weeks run from Friday afternoon through Thursday night. Summer rentals include the 2 summer cabins. House and cabins with apartment suite: $1,400 night/$9,500 week. House and cabins: $1,200 night/$8,000 week, offered 5/18-6/14 and 9/15-10/15. Large groups over 12 pay $50 per extra person per night. Fall/Winter Season October 16-December 17 / January 3-May 17 3 night minimum, except holiday weeks. House with apartment: $700 per night/$4,500 per week. Without summer cabins, the house accommodates 10 in beds. Large groups subject to extra charges. For more than 10 people, $50 per extra person per night. Winter Holidays 4 night minimum: Thanksgiving: November 18-27 1 week minimum: over Christmas and over New Years Christmas Week: December 18 to December 26. New Years Week: December 27 to January 2. House with apartment: $7,000 per week, $1,000 per night After 7 nights, $800 per night. Without summer cabins, the house accommodates 10 in beds. Large groups subject to extra charges. For more than 10 people, $50 per extra person per night. Policies One-half of rental fee deposit required within one week of reservation. Full payment due 60 days before arrival. 10% California Occupancy Tax on rent and cleaning. Cleaning fee deposit per rental or week: $350 main house, $150 apartment, $150 cabins. $1,000 Security/Damage deposit. Cancellation: Reservations are considered binding. We will give a refund of funds deposited less $50 processing fee if we are able to rebook the rental period. Summer deposits become binding on January 15, refundable if we are able to rebook the week. No smoking inside the house or cabins. Sorry, no pets. Entertaining large parties of people (more than 20) is not allowed without the owner's permission. Extra charge will apply. Check in is 4 p.m., check out by 10 a.m. Repeat guests have priority booking upon their departure for the following year.
