In few minutes you can reach the pedestrian precinct of the Old
Trastevere with Santa Maria in Trastevere endowed with the most
important medieval mosaics of Rome, Santa Cecilia, San Crisogono,
San Cosimato , palaces Corsini, the Farnesina with the Raffaello
paintings, the botanical garden,Piazza Trilussa, the several
libraries and art galleries and its famous side streets where you
can enjoy real roman cuisine in a typical local trattorie or osterie
(restaurant) the small places or piazzette, the funny and happy
atmosphere. Above Trastevere we find the Gianicolo,a small hill from
which we can admire one of the most beautiful panorama of the town.
