We've furnished the living room of the apartment with an inviting
leather couch. Several guide books and picture books on Paris, the
local region, and France are also available. On the wall, we've hung a
replica of the Plan Turgot, the first scale map of Paris, made for
Louis XV in 1739.
The TV in the apartment has cable with several foreign-language channels.

While we've tried to keep the apartment's traditional French feel,
we've equipped the kitchen with several "modern" comforts.
The fridge, which has a fully enclosed freezer for storing frozen
foods, the two-burner stovetop, and the oven allow you to store goods
purchased from the many nearby merchants and to prepare meals "at home".
Along with a coffee maker and toaster, there are many basic cooking
utensils and several table settings. We gladly provide the makings of
coffee, hot chocolate, and tea.
In the event of an emergency, you'll find a first-aid kit and a fire
extinguisher in the kitchen as well.
