The unique Villa of Nah Uxibal is located on the white sands
of beautiful Soliman Bay. Soliman is a large, pristine bay abundant
with tropical fish and corals. Sea turtles, rays, needlefish, and
barracuda are just a few that have been seen here, not to mention
the wide array of colorful smaller fish that grace these waters. The
water here is calm thanks to the protective reef that runs between
the two points, providing an ideal environment for swimming,
snorkeling, and kayaking, all of this is right outside your door.
The Sweet Casitas of Nah Uxibal sit on a sandy white beach at
the edge of Soliman Bay. The accommodations are simple yet well built
and tastefully decorated. Both casitas are identical with an open,
airy floor plan. Casita IK (Mayan for wind) has a open view of the
ocean while Casita HA (Mayan for water) sits behind the wild grape
and has more privacy. Solid mahogany windows allow you to control
the amount of breeze and privacy you would like. Round tiled decks
face the ocean to enjoy a sunrise or to relax and have a drink.
Just inside is a fully equipped kitchen with polished
limestone countertops and bar. On the opposite side is a round
teakwood table that seats four. Separated from the kitchen by a half
wall and two steps up is the sleeping area. The king size mattress
is of high quality and comfortable. A ceiling fan sits above the
bed, the dinning table and in the kitchen area, for extra cooling.
The bathroom is covered in colorful talavera tiles, and through
another door is the large open air shower, don't worry, only the
plants can see you.
Drinking water is provided and linens are changed every three days.
