Description

"The Lake House" is a charming, fully equipped four bedroom cottage
that is steps away from picturesque Combie Lake, a 450 acre private
resevoir that only home owners and their guests may use. Water views
may be seen from every room of the cottage - in fact, the water is
so close that friends may speak to one another while standing on the
home's front deck and floating dock. Guests may use our canoe,kayak
or bring their own boat to explore the lake. There are also some
nice hiking areas around the lake as well as a nearby public golf
course.Located halfway between the historic towns of Auburn and
Nevada City, the Lake House is a one of a kind property in a truly
lovely area.

Amenities

The Lake House has four bedrooms with two bathrooms and can sleep 10
people comfortably. Bedroom 1 has a queenbed, Bedroom 2 has a double
bed, Bedroom 3 has a single bed with trundle, and Bedroom 4 has a
bunk bed with trundle. There are also 2 queen sofa sleepers in the
living room. Besides a well equipped kitchen with dish washer, there
is also a laundry room with washer and dryer. The living room has a
fire place, cable television, DVD-VCR player, and C.D. There is also
a dining room and breakfast bar. A large, front deck with built in
seating, picnic table, free standing fire pit, and barbecue - looks
out over the lake. At water's edge, under the pine trees, is a
swing,another picnic table, and outdoor deck chairs.

Attractions

Combie Lake is a beautiful Sierra foothills reservoir which allows
all manner of water activities. Although located in the Bear River
wilderness area, the "Lake House" is not isolated. A major shopping
center is only five minutes away while the quaint towns of Nevada
City and Auburn are 15 minute drives. Other area activities include
white water river rafting, snow skiing, historical silver mine
tours, antiquiing,golfing, wine tasting, and exploring other nearby
scenic areas such as Lake Tahoe. The San Francisco Bay Area is only
2 1/2 hours away.

Rates

$150.00 - $200.00 per night - two night minimum - five or less $15.00 each additional person 10% occupancy tax $100.00 cleaning fee ( linens provided) $100.00 security deposit $1400.00 - weekly summer rate - Sunday - Sunday One night's deposit due to make reservation.Balance due six weeks prior to occupancy. Full deposit refund when cancellation made six weeks prior to arrival.
