out the back door, across a small stream and you have immediate
access to endless hunting and hiking possibilities! World Class
fishing is located minutes away in the Greenbrier River, Williams
River, Handley Lake, Cheat River and Back Creek. We are also minutes
away from the nationally recognized Highland Scenic Highway, a must
see. Cutting across Monongahela National Forest, this 43-mile route,
much of which follows Rte. 150, the highest major road in the state-
provides dramatic views of the Allegheny Highlands.
Mountain Valley Retreat is located just miles from Snowshoe
