Our cottage was built in the 1940's as a fisherman's retreat. Last
year we completely rebuilt the structure, adding a large covered
deck facing the water, new roof,bath and bedroom. all new wiring,
plumbing and appliances. Although we added modern comforts (AC) and
conveniences we tried to retain the original "Key West style"
character--high ceiling, native pine floors, tin roof covering. The
private garden (with outdoor shower) is planted in palms, banana,
and bright flowers and ends at the waters edge where the 100ft dock
begins. Under the living area is a laundry and large storage space
(perfect for boat gear, canoe, tackle...)

The open ocean is one sea mile away--but the property is protected
by a narrow barrier island. Located in a tiny casual,coastal village
it is only one mile to Sebastian where there are shops, restaurants,
banks and an award winning medical center.
