Experience life in the early 1800's but enjoy modern comforts! Sleep
on feather mattresses and air dried sheets under hand sewn quilts.
The house has 5 fireplaces, two three season porches, wide pine
floorboards and original wavy glass windows of the early 19th century
when it was built.
The Nichols house is situated on three house lots with ample grass,
trees and plantings to enjoy from the chaise lounges, picnic table,
or benches in the yard.
The location is ideal for day trips to Boston, Plymouth, Martha's
Vineyard, Nantucket, Block Island, Providence, Cape Cod, and
Connecticut. Maps and brochures are provided on site for your use.
One can enjoy active sight seeing, or relax and nestle in with one of
our books which are yours for the keeping.
Enjoy the charm and comfort provided by the lodging and daily country
fresh breakfasts. It is our intention to continue to provide a place
as cozy, accommodating and friendly as it always has been when mom
Nichols was welcoming all who came for a visit. Join us for a night,
week, or several weeks.

floorboards. It is air conditioned and has a feather mattress, air
dried sheets and hand sewn quilt. A radio, alarm clock, telephone and
TV with a VCR/DVD and selection of videotapes & DVD's are for your in
room enjoyment. The rooms are airy, with original windows from the
early 19th century which look out upon the ever changing New England
foliage!

The 'Eleanor' room has a king size bed, private bath, fireplace, and
wide pine floorboards. It is air conditioned and has a feather
mattress, air dryad sheets and hand sewn quilt. A radio, alarm clock,
telephone and TV with a VCR and selection of videotapes are for your
in room enjoyment. The room is airy, with 3 of the original windows
from the early 19th century which look out upon the ever changing New
England foliage! $99 nightly
The 'Muriel' room has a fireplace and an antique solid brass queen-
sized bed and private bath. It is equipped with air conditioning,
overhead fan, radio, alarm clock and phone in the room. There are two
windows looking into the back and side yards with views of the maple
trees. The room is charming with wide pine floorboards, yet
comfortable and quiet. The room also has a TV and VCR/DVD. $99
nightly.
The 'Cameron' room has a double mates bed with a feather mattress and
lots of drawers beneath. The sheets are air dryad, and the quilts are
hand sewn. It has a large closet and comes with two thick and thirsty
terrycloth robes for use by the guests. The full bath including a tub
with bathsalts is shared. The room is equipped with a TV, VCR/DVD
alarmclock and phone, overhead fan and air-conditioning. $89 nightly
