Description

Trapper's Cabin located on our ranch at the base of Battle Mountain
just north of Hot Springs. As history has it an epidemic that
struck the local Indian tribe around 1550 or so; the plague ended
according to the story when a messenger brought news of a healing
spring that cured the illness. Battle Mountain got its name from a
19th century clash between the Sioux and the Cheyenne over control
of the warm spring found in the area.
The cabin features custom locally crafted furniture and fixtures
along with original western and wildlife art.
