This 1600 square foot home on top of Mount Dickey features a large
open kitchen and dining room with a large window overlooking
beautiful trees and valley for a breathtaking view.
The great room includes a gas log fireplace, satellite TV and cozy
furniture. The main level bedroom has a king size bed, full bath and
a walk in closet. The loft has a king size bed, twin size hide-a-bed,
walk-in closet, and private bath.
The basement has a laundry room. The cabin is fully air conditioned
and heated. Enjoy a morning cup of coffee or an evening BBQ on the
deck. Small house dogs are welcome to stay too. This is a non-smoking
establishment.
Murphy's Blessing is located in historic Murphy, North Carolina atop
Dickey Mountain. Murphy is the county seat of Cherokee County, which
is in the southwestern corner of North Carolina in the Blue Ridge
chain of the Great Smokey Mountains. There are numerous places to
visit and awesome sights to see. If you are looking for a place to
relax and enjoy breathtaking mountain views then Murphy's Blessing is
the place to be.
We are located just minutes from the John C. Campbell Folk School
which offers classes from blacksmithing to broom making and weekly
concerts. Festivals, flea markets, and the Brasstown Antique Village.
Grocery stores, restaurants, hospitals, and scenic highways are only
minutes away. Murphy is located within a days excursion of the
Cherokee Indian Reservation a great place to go, Asheville, Biltmore
Estates, Gatlinburg/Pigeon Forge, and Dollywood. There is river
rafting in both directions from Murphy. You can be in Georgia and
Tenn within 15 to 20 mins from the cabin. There is a lot of things to
do in Chattanooga, Tenn which is only about an hour and a half from
the cabin.
You can relax in the chalet or set out for an awesome adventure. Our
chalet is comfortable and homey.
