Description
|
|
Leave No Trace cabin is a well appointed log cabin on 10 wooded acres
off a Vermont dirt road only 5 miles from the historic and quaint
village of Woodstock. It's close to lots of interesting sites,
gourmet restaurants, hiking trails and horsebackriding areas yet
pleasantly nestled on a back road between a horse farm and a sheep
farm.
The cabin offers sleeping arrangements with a queensize bed in the
loft, a full size bed with a single top bunk in the main floor
bedroom and an additional queensize futon in the basement. There is a
small private bath in the loft with a whirlpool tub and a larger
bathroom on the main floor. Linens, towels and paper products are
provided.
It has a full kitchen equipped with all the appliances and cooking
staples you need to eat in. The dining/living room has large windows
looking out on the woods, bird feeders and the deck. There is a large
deck on the back looking down to the small brook. There is a
woodstove with a glass front for the cool nights. Firewood is
provided and if you are visiting in the Winter there is also a
furnace so you don't need to survive your boy-scout fire building
skills.
If you are bringing your horse there is a 2 stall barn and small
paddock. The cabin is situated on the Green Mountain Horse
Association trails and these can be hiked as well.
During the Winter there are several ski areas close-by: Suicide Six,
Ascutney, Okemo and a little further away is Killington.
