The house has 2 living rooms, dining room, sun room, 5 bedrooms, 2
1/2 baths, new eat-in kitchen, laundry room, games room, large deck
that stretches the front length of the house, patio in rear, large
back garden with path leading into woods. Lots of wildlife sightings
in the area.

Amenities |
|
The house sleeps 10 to 12 people and is fully equipped. There's a
sewing kit in the laundry room as well as an ironing board and iron;
there's a first aid kit in the powder room and just about every
kitchen electronic imaginable. There are several make-up mirrors and
hair dryers as well.
All linen, towels, blankets, china, flatware, cooking utensils, etc.
are included, although we would ask that guests bring their own
beach towels if they wish to visit the local lake that is within
walking distance.

Attractions |
|
Activities include biking, hiking, tennis, horseback riding,
swimming, water parks, canoe tours, fishing, and white water
rafting. Jiminy Peak offers lifts to mountain tops for access to
mountain bike trails as well as tubing. Golf is available at a
number of public courses which include Cranwell Resort Spa & Golf
Club and Egremont Country Club.
Jacob's Pillow, the avant garde dance company founded in 1933 by Ted
Shawn, is situated in the town of Becket. Tanglewood, the summer
home of the Boston Symphony Orchestra, is in nearby Lenox.
There are also a number of museums in the area including Norman
Rockwell, Chesterwood where Daniel Chester French designed and
crafted his sculpture for the seated Lincoln memorial. Edith
Wharton's lovely home is in Lenox and Herman Melville's Arrowhead
farm, where he wrote Moby Dick, is open to the public in Pittsfield.

- September 7, 2008, to November 1, 2008: $1,500/week or $250 per
day
- November 2, 2008, to March 28, 2009: $1,200/week or $235 per day
- March 29, 2009, to May 16, 2009: $1,100/week or $210 per day
House price for 7 - 8 people
- May 23, 2008, to September 6, 2008: $2,500/week or $400 per day
- September 7, 2008, to November 1, 2008: $2,000/week or $340 per
day
- November 2, 2008, to March 28, 2009: $1,600/week or $300 per day
- March 29, 2009, to May 16, 2009: $1,400/week or $265 per day
House price for 9 - 12 people
- May 23, 2008, to September 6, 2008: $3,000/week or $500 per day
- September 7, 2008, to November 1, 2008: $2,500/week or $425 per day
