galleries, and peace and quiet. Arrive by car ferry from Charlevoix
or air by island airways . Lots of historic sites to explore.

Beaver Island is the largest island in Lake Michigan. The fishing is
great. Many Great Lakes boaters select the harbor as a favorite
destination. The town is small with a few shops. great dining and a
fresh fish fishery.The island is all about quiet and exploring
nature. Central Michigan University has a biological station, the
Mormans have a museum from years ago, and there are 2 light
houses.The trees are huge and some logging goes on. The residents
are very friendly and value the cleanliness of the island.The
library is a very special place.
