This home is for you if you want the comforts of home but prefer a 
secluded and private setting which backs up to the Corps of 
Engineers land of the Harlan County Reservoir.  We can’t offer you a 
view of the lake but we’ve had the pleasure of watching deer, wild 
turkeys, foxes, pheasants and more stroll through our yard.   Life 
is much easier staying in a fully furnished home with a full kitchen 
plus a washer and dryer.  We are located less than 1 mile away from 
the Harlan Co Lake; approximately 60 miles SW of Kearney.  This is 
Nebraska’s second largest lake at 9 miles long.   Though this area 
is known as a sportsman’s paradise, this 3 bedroom, 2 ½ bath home is 
not only waiting for you outdoor enthusiasts but is also ideal as 
your own private getaway vacation. Relax after a day of fishing, 
boating, skiing, hunting, hiking or wildlife viewing.  

No more sitting on a hotel bed watching TV.  Instead come home, 
gather in the country kitchen to eat and then relax in the living 
room. Or enjoy the extra space in the walk out lower level with a 
family room, 3rd bedroom and 1/2 bath.  Soak in the tub after a long 
day at the lake or take a quick shower and enjoy some TV, play 
cards, read a book.....   If you enjoy the outdoors, you can watch 
for wildlife in the backyard on the large covered deck.  It has 
plenty of seating and a gas grill. Features include satellite TV 
(2), washer and dryer, large backyard, off street parking, central 
air, gas grill and more. Private sleeping for 6 in the 3 queen sized 
beds.  Additional sleeping available using the queen sized sleeper. 
Outdoor fish cleaning station.   

If you have friends and family joining you, ask about our 2 bedroom 
home. The other home has an outdoor dog kennel.  Both homes are 
within walking distance of each other and offer similar amenities.  

Even though this vacation home has a full kitchen, when you want to 
dine out, we are less the 1 mile from Little Mexico Restaurant on the 
lake featuring Mexican and American food.

Our homes are all no smoking. You may smoke outside.
