hundreds of miles of snowmobile, ATV, hiking, and wildlife trails,
this home offers the ultimate vacation location from your door to
the trails.
This home features a master bedroom that overlooks the lake with a
queen bed, the second bedroom has a double bed on the lake side as
well, and the third bedroom has a queen and twin bed with a view of
the forest. The roomy bathroom has a large shower.
This beautiful home will sleep 8 to 10 guests comfortably with
linens provided. The home is carpeted and the walls are done in
tongue and groove aspen wood, with a rich appointment of mounted
game and artwork. The
open living arrangment offers a full kitchen with a large
refrigerator, walk in pantry, stove with oven, microwave, coffee
maker, toaster, pots & pans, dishes, utensils, and basic food
staples. Washer and dryer. The satellite TV and VCR are complete
with a library of movies, there is also a DVD player (please bring
your DVD's), and CD player. The large dining table with seating for
8 has a panoramic view from the elevated main floor over the entire
lake. A newly installed kitchen door ensures quick and direct access
to a wrap around deck for additional entertaining, dining, or
watching the wildlife. The deck features tables, chairs, gas grill,
and bird feeders. You can also walk out onto the lake side of the
property from the deck.
The community bedroom located downstairs in the walk-out basement,
features one queen bed and four twin beds, and an under-the-stairs
children's playhouse with toys. The rustic, second living area, has
a wood burning stove, two couches and a small dining area.
There are over 30 children/adult board games located in the linen
closet on the main floor.
A fire pit is located by the shore for evening campfires for telling
your favorite campside stories or making Smores. Steven's Lake has
excellent fishing and abundant wildlife for view right off a newly
installed dock. A 16' canoe and fishing boat is available with oars.
The lake with over 15 acres of mostly undeveloped wilderness
shoreline offers bass, pike, bluegills, beaver, mink, and a variety
of migrating and local waterfowl. Hiawatha's Heaven offers a small
shallow sand beach for playing. There is a public beach nearby that
offers deeper access to a sandy beach. There is also excellent
picnic areas and swimming beaches at Camp 7 Campground just 7 miles
away.
You'll love the "away from it all" feeling you'll get as you travel
down county-groomed gravel roads and a good old-fashioned dirt road
