A community that is bordered on 3 sides by an unspoiled natural 
environment; the Indian River to the west, the Atlantic Ocean to the 
east, and the 220-acre Smyrna Dunes Park and Ponce Inlet, with the 
tallest lighthouse in Florida, to the north. Minorca is truly one of a 
kind located in New Smyrna Beach and known as paradise.

Since we enjoy spending time here in the winter ourselves, it has been 
furnished and equipped for our comfort as well as that of our guests.  
We think you’ll be pleased with all we offer from the comfortable beds 
to the artwork on the walls!

As long term rentals are required you will find this not a transient 
community.  People are not coming and going weekly, so you will find 
this a very friendly area giving you the opportunity to make long term 
acquaintances.

We have furnished the kitchen with most anything you would need from 
simple snacks to gourmet meals. There is even a wok, espresso machine 
and electric indoor/outdoor grill and more. Should you need a recipe 
we included some cookbooks.

There is a washer/dryer in a fully equipped laundry room; jacuzzi tub 
in master bath; 3 tvs/dvd/vcr; all the linens you will need including 
a few beach towels;  a bucket for shelling (w/collander & brush); 
central a/c; handicapped accessibility from the building itself to the 
walkways to beach and river (including the Dunes Park boardwalk); non-
smoking; pets considered; inside parking includes two hangers for 
bikes.  

The decor is subdued tropical, affording lovely surroundings for you, 
and your guests, while vacationing in this most luxurious resort 
community. 

Free wireless internet is available in clubhouse and will soon be 
available in the building.  FYI- I have been getting it from another 
building nearby.

Steps to river (inter-coastal) and pavilion with charcoal grills and 
bathrooms; and private boardwalk to ocean pavilion w/bathrooms, ocean 
and beach; heated pool and hot tub, outdoor shower, bathrooms; 4 
lighted Har-Tru tennis courts w/covered seating area; Casino style 
club containing fitness center, mens & women's spas, billiard table, 
bar w/kitchen, tvs, seating areas, wi-fi, tables for card games and 
computer use. 

If you like to do a little morning fishing, over by the river we have 
private docks with just the spot.  Also, next to the river pavilion 
there are racks for storing kayaks.

There are numerous grassy areas for the kids to run around and play 
ball or frisbee tossing. 
 
Bike riding is popular here as there are many places to 
ride...including the beach.

Nearby Dunes Park nature preserve has a boardwalk approx. 1-1/2 miles 
long. Beach is drive on. Golf courses; library; monthly art walks, 
Cruise-in on beachside and mainland. Numerous restaurants and shops in 
the quaint downtown area both mainland and beachside.  

Boat rentals and deep sea fishing are available, Daytona Speedway, 
with Cape Canaveral National Seashore just up the road. A short ride 
on the causeway will take you to the New Smyrna Beach water taxi at 
the Marine Discovery Center. 

Across the inlet is the Marine Science Center and the Lighthouse Park 
with Florida's tallest lighthouse at it's museum center.  Feeling 
spry?  It's 203 steps up to the most gorgeous view...bring your 
camera.

Should you need boat/rv storage: On Solid Ground is nearby. We use it 
for our boat.  It's a safe and convenient spot. Also, several very 
nice, free boat ramps are available in New Smyrna and Edgewater.

Our beach is a great spot to watch a shuttle launch and the river is a 
great spot to watch dolphins, birds and boats.  There is so much beach 
area here...on the Atlantic side as well as the inlet and river.  You 
will certainly have your fill.  It's truly a beautiful place.
