Description
|
|
Sitting on the hill overlooking Historic Georgetown, this house will
make you feel at home the minute you walk through the door. Few
houses in Georgetown have the combination of privacy and proximity to
shops and restaurants that this one does. The museums, stores, and
activities of the downtown district are a quick two minute walk down the
hill. The famous Georgetown Loop Railroad is less than a mile up the
road. This house has the feel of being in another time--and yet, it has
all the modern amenities you could want.

Georgetown (The Silver Queen) is an historic victorian mining town
within one hour of at least six major ski areas: Loveland, Winter Park,
Arapahoe Basin, Keystone, Vail/Beaver Creek, Copper Mountain, and
Breckenridge. You can snowshoe, nordic ski, and sled right outside
your door. In the summer, take a ride on the Georgetown Loop
Railroad, tour an old mine, watch big horn sheep and mountain goats,
or go hiking. Walk downtown and visit museums, shops and
restaurants. Go on a walking tour of the town's beautiful victorian
buildings. The activities are endless!
