This picturesque Winnipesaukee cottage sits in its own cove with
~240' of private lake frontage. This fabulous vacation spot offers
great boating and swimming. It sits just inside a no-wake zone
giving the peace and tranquility you're looking for, yet only 50
yards to open boating, water skiing and more.
The cottage sleeps six with three bedrooms (queen/dual-twin/dual-
twin), and has one full bathroom. The living room is spacious and is
all windows facing the lake to take in the views.
It has a beautiful brick fireplace for those evenings when you want
to sit and relax in front of a cozy fire. The living room is
furnished with a couch, loveseat, and recliner. There is a 32"
color television with the Dish Network Satellite Service, a DVD
player and VCR.
The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you'll need, including
stove, refrigerator and microwave. Sorry, no dishwasher. For the
barbecue enthusiast there is a gas grill outside.
The best of the best is the screened porch facing west toward the
lake. Enjoy breakfast, lunch and dinner on the screened porch,
taking in the views and spectacular sunsets. And it wouldn't be
right if it didn't have two wooden rockers for your enjoyment.
There are also many chairs and tables on the porch to eat and play
games on.
The property does have a dock so if you have a boat, bring it! Just
a few minutes away the Town of Moultonborough has a free boat ramp
for launching boats. This area of the lake is great for kayaking as
there are many little coves to explore. We also have many Loons in
the area. There are two kayaks and a rowboat at the home for you to
use. Be advised, you must have a life jacket for every person in a
boat...even in a rowboat or kayak.
Incidental features of the property are...Parking for at least 6
Vehicles; an outdoor fire pit for controlled campfires; a
clothesline; a swim raft moored in the cove to swim to and dive off
of.
This property is like many lakefront properties in New England. It
has many locations where you can comfortably walk into the water
from the shore. However it does Not have a sandy beach.
