your vacation needs. The home has DSL for your laptop, a 32-inch
flat screen TV, VCRs, DVD players, a PlayStation 2 console, and more.
Our guests love the large screened porch for relaxation.
Comfortably appointed with cushioned wicker furniture and a dining
table, this will be your favorite spot in the house! The adjoining
deck has a Webber gas grill for your cooking enjoyment.
Preparing meals in the cottage is easily done, as the kitchen is
fully stocked with everything you would have at home. We even
include spices and condiments for your convenience. The gas range
and commercial grade non-stick cookware further enhance the
experience.
The master bedroom has a queen bed & is tucked on one side of the
villa with a private bath. It also has access to the screened
porch. On the other side of the villa are a second bedroom with
queen bed and a portable crib, a full bath, and a third bedroom with
a daybed, trundle, and twin bunks. The home comfortably sleeps 6
adults or 4 adults and 4 children. Each bedroom has a TV, extra
pillow and blankets, and plenty of space to store your things.
The downstairs shower is perfect for washing away sand. We
frequently leave towels and a change of clothes in the shower area
prior to heading out to the beach. In the downstairs storage areas
we have an extra refrigerator, coolers, 5 bicycles, a beach wagon,
boogie boards, skim boards, beach chairs, bocce ball and beach

Attractions |
|
Seabrook Island is a private gated community located 23 miles from
historic Charleston, SC. With ancient live oaks, towering palms,
and abundant wildlife, the island is a beautiful retreat for
vacationing. The lack of commercial development and hotels keeps
the island quiet and pristine. Still, there is plenty to do. The
beach is wide, clean, and three miles long. Dolphin frolick in the
waters just off-shore. Deer are plentiful on the island and
frequently spotted while walking or driving around.
The Seabrook Island club has two swimming pools, an oceanside bar
and restaurant (seasonally, as it is outdoors), an ice cream parlor,
fitness center, golf and tennis clubs, and equestrian center, kids'
programs, and two additional restaurants. Throughout the summer
numerous organized activities are offered, and live entertainment
occurs several nights of the week.
Biking, roller blading, running, and beach walking are popular
activities as well. The slow pace of traffic on the island makes
the roads safe for everyone (wildlife included!)
Just off the island you will find numerous restaurants ranging from
pizza and burgers to fine dining. At Freshfields Village, located
just outside the Seabrook Island gate, is a full-service grocery
store, many specialty shops, Starbucks, beach/surf shops, and a
pharmacy. Also nearby are a wonderful produce stand with locally
grown vegetables and freshly caught seafood, a marina with boat
rentals and tours, and additional shops.
No trip to Seabrook would be complete without a day of sight-seeing
in Charleston. This historic city boasts beautiful antebellum
homes, wonderful dining, numerous sightseeing tours, antique shops,
and specialty stores. We have assembled a guidebook with
information about area attractions, including driving directions.
You can peruse the book while relaxing on the porch with a
refreshing drink!
