Description

Hale Lotus is a delightful vacation rental. Located on the Kona Coast
of the Big Island of Hawaii at Manini Point by the renowned Kealakekua
Bay!
With 1150 square feet of living area plus 450 square feet of covered
lanai. Surrounded by water gardens, flowers and 15 tropical fruit
trees. Awaken to the sounds of birds, enjoy warm tropical evenings and
everything you need for a comfortable stay in a smoke free
environment. This neighborhood has retained the charm and quiet easy
pace of old Hawaii, so allow yourself to relax, unwind, and swim in
the crystal clear, healing waters of Manini Beach, a short walk from
this comfortable abode! The large comfortable lanai with gas barbecue
grill and outside eating area makes this home very enjoyable. Also try
out the cold waterfall-like outside shower for a refreshing experience!
Kealakekua Bay (which means Pathway to the Gods) is also one of
Hawaii's most spectacular coral reefs. Because it is a Marine Life
Conservation District, fish are plentiful and swarm over the well
developed reef that slopes from the shores into the ocean. Spinner
dolphins, Manta Rays, and Green Sea turtles are also commonly seen
resting in the Bay. Humpback Whales visit in the winter season. The
reefs make this area an underwater sanctuary, so come enjoy a swim or
snorkel, and dive into some of the worlds most pristine water.
Snorkeling anywhere off the shores of the bay is a memorable
experience, you will see many of the local reef fish and beautiful
coral formations. Do not forget to bring an underwater camera!
Nearby beaches are Napo'opo'o, Ke'ei beach and Pu'uhonua O Honaunau.
There are many ancient sites to explore. Supermarkets and restaurants
all within a ten minute drive from this vacation home.
