Amenities |
|
Unusually for accommodation in the centre of Edinburgh, we're not
offering an apartment, but a small self-contained cottage, part of an
old brewery which was converted to housing in the late 1980's.
Craigwell Cottage has one double bedroom and one twin bedroom on the
ground floor, with a bathroom (shower over bath). On the upper level
there is an open plan kitchen/dining/living area with lovely views out
to the courtyard of the property and over private gardens opposite to
Salisbury Crags - in Holyrood Park. Parking is at a real premium in
the City Centre, so we're also able to offer you a parking space for
one car in the courtyard outside the Cottage. You'll also find a
'secret garden' only accessible to residents of Nether Craigwell,
which has wonderful views of the City skyline.

Attractions |
|
You're a quick walk from the Palace of Holyroodhouse, the new Scottish
Parliament, Dynamic Earth and the Royal Mile - the street which runs
between Edinburgh Castle at the top and the Palace of Holyroodhouse at
the foot. Princes Street - Edinburgh's bustling main street is only a
short walk away, as are the Omni Cinema Centre and the Playhouse
Theatre. Buses running nearby take you to Ocean Terminal where you
can see the former Royal Yacht Britannia, and connect with routes to
the world reknowned Edinburgh Zoo. How much can you pack in to a
short stay here? In August Edinburgh is host to an array of Arts
Festivals - Film, Book, Fringe, TV , etc and in winter there's the
Winter Wonderland carnival and New Year Celebrations. Something to do
all year round.
