Accommodations:
The Ger is a 700 sq ft circular tent with a 5’ operable skylight at 
the center complete with Bedroom, Living Room/Dining Area, Kitchen, 
Bathroom with composting toilet, Sleeping Loft and Wrap around Deck.  
With a Full sized bed in the Bedroom, a King sized and a single 
pullout futon couch in the Living room and room for up to 2 
small/agile adults or children in the sleeping loft the Yurt can 
sleep up to 6 people. 
It is located in the middle of a horse field, behind a hill facing 
the stream.  Cars are left on the main driveway to preserve the 
natural experience of this eco abode.  

You will be met by a 4 wheel drive Gator and driven out to the Ger, 
your “Eco Abode” for the week.   We will give you a tour of the wagon 
on which the solar panels are mounted and in which the inverter is 
housed.  We will show you the geothermal air conditioning system and 
the utility closet which houses the heating system.  We will show you 
everything the Captain or Captains of this “ship” will need to know 
to have a comfortable stay.

The Yurt is our effort to create and share with others a harmonious 
home with a small foot print on the earth. 

we are located in the beautiful Hudson 
Valley between New Paltz and Kingston. At the base of Mohonk Mountain 
and minutes from the Catskill Mountains and Woodstock.  We are near 
Wineries, Antiquing, Gourmet Restaurants, Lake Minnewaska, Mohonk 
Preserve, Golf, Snow Boarding, Hiking, Rock Climbing, Cross Country 
Skiing, Spas, the Pottery Trail, Ice Skating, Fishing, Biking, SUNY 
New Paltz, Culinary Institute and more.
Our 20 acre Horse Farm provides walking and riding trails as well as 
a seasonal swimming hole in the summer and cross country skiing 
trails in the winter.
We welcome animals and their owners to enjoy our own newly renovated 
one bedroom apartment.
