Our newly furnished Santa Cruz Vacation Home invites you to explore
your connection with the Northern Coast while enjoying the modern
conveniences you'd expect from the finest Santa Cruz hotels. Our
beach home is 2700sq ft, has 4 bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and sleeps up
to 12 guests and has partial ocean views from Kitchen/deck and full
ocean view from upper deck.
Our beach home is conveniently located 1 block from West Cliff Drive,
a 5 minute walk to sandy beaches, Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk and
dining. This home is a perfect vacation destination for anyone who
likes to swim, surf, sail, golf, hike, bike, kayak, fish or simply
relax on the beach.

Clark by the Sea accommodates up to 12 guests.
Clark by The Sea is an open 2700 sq ft 2-story home with a reverse
floor plan. It offers you 4 bedrooms and 2 1/2 bathrooms, a huge
family room, a game room, fully stocked kitchen and full laundry
facilities.
The Master suite, Master bath, Family Room, Kitchen, Dining room and
1/2 bathroom are all located upstairs. The lower level has 3
bedrooms, a laundry room,a full bathroom and a game room.
There are 2 decks to enjoy the ocean views, a private back yard with
a hot tub and a 2 car garage. The upstairs is open and airy with
vaulted ceilings and lots of windows allowing for natural lighting.
A huge stone fireplace is located in the Family room and a cozy
fireplace is located in the Master suite.
Beautiful beach decor, newly painted walls, comfortably furnished
w/huge sectional in family room with sleeper and recliner.
Formal dining seats 6 with breakfast bar seating 2. Folding table
and chairs seat an additional 4.
Outdoor deck with bbq seats 4.
UPSTAIRS
Family Room: Enjoy this open room with partial views of the ocean.
This is were you will want to relax after a busy day at the beach.
The huge sectional easily seats 6 -8 people. The family room has a
Big Screen TV with a DVD/VHS player, fireplace,cable tv, phone with
local calls (you must use a calling card to make long distant calls).
There is a desk available with note pads, pens, a binder with
information regarding the home, current activities at Santa Cruz and
travel guides. We offer wireless internet connection. The sectional
is a sofa sleeper and sleeps 2.
Dining Area: Opens to family room and kitchen. The table seats 6 and
the adjacent breakfast bar seats 2. There is available a folding
card table with 4 chairs in the 1/2 bath closet.
Kitchen:All electric kitchen includes a microwave oven, dishwasher,
disposal, refrigerator. The fully stocked kitchen includes spices,
teas, coffee, hot chocolate, sugar, salt, pepper, Toaster, blender,
coffee maker, coffee grinder, knifes, bowls, pots, pans, wine
glasses, tumblers, silverware, plastic outdoor plates and cups, paper
plates, paper cups, plastic utensils, Paper products including paper
towels & napkins.
Master Suite: Huge suite with queen size bed and a day bed with
trundle. The master suite accommodates 4 guests. The suite includes
a private deck, fireplace, TV w/local cable, sitting area alarm
clock radio, walk in closet. Master bathroom has tub with shower,
shampoo, conditioner, lotion, toilet paper, tissue paper, hair dryer,
linens, towel. Extra pillows and blankets are located in the closet.
1/2 Bath: A large closet is located in the 1/2 bath were you will
find the vacuum cleaner, cleaning supplies, folding table w/chairs,
extra paper products.
DOWNSTAIRS
Game Room: with pool table and stereo/cd player, Pub tables to play
board games or have a drink. Computer/work station area with dsl,
printer, copy machine, fax machine (on request only).
Laundry Room: with washer and dryer, built in ironing board, iron,
access to outside.

Included at property: Bed linens, towels, 1 adult bike with helmet,

books, magazines and fresh flowers for you to enjoy.
Walk, bike, jog or roller blade on famous west cliff drive. 5 minute
walk to beach. 15 minute walk to the boardwalk. Short drive to
shopping, downtown, and Capitola.
What you should bring: You are welcomed to use anything on the
premises. Pack your own personal toiletry items and beach towels.
Our linens are not allowed off premises. The beach towels provided
are to be used for the hot tub area only.
The home set up is quite friendly for small children but Children are
to be supervised at all times. Since we do have young children
ourselves we try to child proof as much as possible. However
children should never be left alone in the hot tub or at the decks.
There are interior stairs which have been brought up to code however
children can still slip and fall down the stairs.
Some sinks have child proof cabinet locks.

Santa Cruz Beach Boardwalk: is the West Coast premiere seaside
amusement park with Santa Cruz's most popular attraction, The 1924
Giant Dipper, the park's centerpiece is a vintage roller coaster that
has thrilled visitors for more than 80 years. During the summer
months you will enjoy Friday night concerts at the beach. The
boardwalk has over 30 rides for delightful fun for the kids. The
huge arcade room, miniature golf, laser tag and bowling are available
year round.
Santa Cruz Harbor: Charted fishing, sailing and whale watching tours
allow you to catch sight of the abundant marine life. While at the
harbor dine at The Crow's Nest, Johnny's Harborside, Cafe La Paloma
or Aldo's.
Roaring Camp Rail Road: Hop aboard a roaring camp locomotive at the
Beach Boardwalk for a round-trip ride through an 1875 tunnel, an 1909
steel truss bridge and down the scenic San Lorenzo River Gorge.
West Cliff Drive: Walk along West Cliff Dr., a paved path that winds
for miles along the ocean and find out why local residents have
consistently voted it the best outdoor promenade, best bike ride,

Row. The drive is approximately 40 minutes from Clark by The Sea.

forget to visit Carmel and the 17-mile drive for beautiful views.

Above prices are the base rate. Please add $175 sanitation fee
and 10% City Tax to the above.
There is a 3-night minimum stay during Fall/Spring and Winter
months.
There is a 5-night minimum stay during summer months.
The security deposit is $1000.
Payment Policy:
To hold reservations for the dates you specify, we require an
up-front deposit equal to 50% of the total rent (including
sanitation fee & city tax). When you send in your check you
must also include the security/damage deposit as well as the
signed documentation either emailed or sent to you. The
advanced payment will be applied toward the rent. Please
make payments in the form of traveler's check, bank money
orders, cashier's check or personal check payable to
Diane LoVerde. The advance payment is not a damage deposit. The
balance of the rent is due 60 days before your arrival.
CANCELLATIONS ---A sixty (60) day notice is required for
cancellation. Cancellations that are made more than sixty (60)
days prior to the arrival date will incur no penalty, except for
a $100 Cancellation Fee. Cancellations or changes that result
in a shortened stay, that are made within 60 days of the arrival
date, forfeit the full advance payment and damage/reservation
deposit. Cancellations or early departure does not warrant any
refund of rent or deposit.
