We offer, inground pool, shallow sandy beach, mature trees, nature 
trails and natural pond on 11 acres of private property. There is an 
excellent boat launch, a fish cleaning station and docking. There is 
also a small playground and a coin laundry and extra parking if you 
have more than 1 vehicle. Within walking distance of family 
restaurant, gas station, 2 general stores and community hall.  Rice 
lake is reknown for its outstanding fishing.  The lake is fairly 
shallow and is 23 miles long with 20 picturesque islands. The 
shallow shorelines and numerous weedbeds make it popular haunt for 
muskie and bass. There is also an abundance of pan fish,large and 
small mouth bass and pickerel (walleye).

You can visit the slot machines at Kawartha Downs, the Lang Pioneer 
Village in Keen or tour over the world's highest liftlock in 
Peterborough.  We are also close to Serpent Mounds and Alderville 
Indian Reserve. You can play a round of golf at your choice of 
nearby golf courses or be entertained at the Festival of Lights twice
weekly in Peterboough. The famous Capital Theater in Port Hope is a 
25 minute drive.  It is also a short distance to a drive-in theatre, 
cinemas, antique shops, and shopping malls.
