Perry and Anne Scott are the third generation of his family to 
lovingly care for this 1800's home.  Many antiques grace the house, 
but modern beds have been added for the comfort of our guests.  Though 
the house is in a rural setting of ancient oaks and pecan trees on 33 
acres of land, Sweetnin' house is just 5 short miles from I-65.  
A gourmet breakfast is served in the Sun Room overlooking the flower 
garden where numerous feeders invite a variety of song birds to 
serenade our guests.
A short walk from the house is an open-air tree house where guests can 
enjoy the quiet, restful sounds of the woods with a glass of tea, 
known as "the House Wine of the South".
Candlelight Dinners can be arranged in the Sun Room or in the Tree 
House at an extra cost.

The Great Room is equipped with Surround Sound, VCR and DVD, as well as 
a limited library of movies for our guests enjoyment.
Each of our rooms is equipped with its own TV, alarm clock radio, and 
ceiling fan.

A guest refrigerator is stocked with soft drinks and bottled water, 
complimentary to our guests, as well as coffee and tea.

Room rates are $115 double or single occupancy year round.  We require a 
72 hour cancellation notice.  A 4% lodging tax is added for the state of 
Alabama.  
A credit card guarantees your room.  If you do not notify us within 72 
hours of your reserved stay, your credit card will be charged.  However, 
we will be glad to work with you on another date in the near future 
pending availability.
