Sunsets over the water with the Mackinaw Bridge in the background 
are at the end of a perfect day. Bois Blanc and Mackinaw are full of 
history.  The island has a mix of sandy or rocky beaches, pristine 
trails for four wheelers, bikes, hiking, tree tunnel rustic roads, 4 
inland lakes for fishing, Indian burial grounds, and wildlife 
(loons, deer daily, fox, eagles and much more).  For shopping hop on 
the 5 minute air taxi ride to Mackinaw Island for gourmet meals, 
golf, and horse drawn taxis.  You can take the car ferry from 
Cheboygan, MI or the air taxi in St.Ignace.If you are looking for 
peace and beauty this is the place or you can join in the many 
activities the island association plans. 

Entry has an inlaid wood deer in the floor, large dinning room, 
kitchen with pantry, all tile fireplace divides the living room from 
dining, beams are whole birch tree trunks, each bedroom is 
thematic,and a large screen porch facing the lake.  Lots of windows 
so all can enjoy the view as dine or shower.  The home cottage is 
cottage french decor. Out door cooking grill, as well as fire pit 
for marshmellows at the water's edge with wood deck and chairs.  

A boat bubble is in front of the cottage so you can bring your boat.
Only 10 minutes by water for you to motor between the islands.  Both 
big lake and inland lake fishing.

Daily rate......$180 (daily rate is for May, September, & October)

Weekly rate.....$1,200 per week

Deposit of 1/2 down upon booking. Deposit is refunded in full with 
30 days notice prior to trip.  The last 1/2 of the rental is due the 
day you arrive.
