Geronomo is a comfortable 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath lakefront cottage that 
has been recently refurbished.  It is located on approximately 160’ 
of sandy beach.  Facing west, it offers beautiful views of Lake 
Michigan, Beaver Island and glorious sunsets. We usually see one or 
two green flashes each year from the deck and the Aurora borealis 
and the Perseids meteor shower from the beach.  Enhancements include 
new upholstered furniture, new carpeting, new beds and bed linens, 
new window coverings and the addition of a ceiling fan in the main 
living area.

Main Living Area:  The main living area has a vaulted ceiling with a 
two-story wall of windows facing Lake Michigan.  Additions in 2006 
include a flat screen TV, HBO, Showtime and Sirius radio.  There is 
a wood-burning fireplace flanked by comfortable furnishings that 
include a couch, loveseat, two upholstered swivel chairs (the better 
to watch the sunsets) and a rocking chair, as well as occasional 
tables and generous lighting.  For entertainment, there is a color 
TV with a DVD player and a satellite connection, as well as a 
personal stereo unit with CD player.  The dining table seats 8 and 
is at the end of the main living area.

Bedrooms:  One bedroom has a king-size bed with 4 king pillows and 3 
European shams.  The closet provides hanging space and a wire multi-
drawer storage unit.  The room includes a luggage rack.

The second bedroom has 2 twin beds, each with 2 standard pillows and 
a European sham.  The closet provides hanging space and a wire multi-
drawer storage unit.  The room includes a luggage rack.

Loft Area:  The loft overlooks the main living area and has 
wonderful lake views.  It has 3 additional twin beds, each with 2 
standard size pillows.   The loft is a great play area for children. 

Kitchen:  The kitchen has an electric 4-burner range/oven unit, 
double sink, full-size refrigerator with freezer compartment, 
microwave, toaster and coffeemaker.  It is fully equipped with 
dishes, eating utensils and cooking equipment.

Bathrooms:  The main bathroom has one sink, a toilet and a shower 
over the tub.  A hairdryer is provided. A half-bath is off the game 
room in the basement.

Walk-out Basement:  The basement (with views of the beach) is set up 
as a game room.  There is a Foosball table,  a game table with 4 
chairs (good for card or board games or working jigsaw puzzles), a 
comfy couch and a satellite color television with a built-in VCR 
player.  Double doors lead to a wooden deck at ground level that has 
a Weber barbecue and an outdoor chair and table. 

Outdoors:  The entrance door is located on the second level, above 
the basement.  There is a good-sized deck with a table and 4 chairs 
for dining al fresco; the deck extends to the front of the house for 
beautiful views of the beach.  Stairs lead from the walkout basement 
deck to the 160’ sandy beach.  The cottage is on what many think is 
the best stretch of beach in the greater Good Hart area.

Other Information 

Number of Guests:  1 to 7. 

Provided Linens:  Comforters or bedspreads, blankets, dust ruffles, 
pillow covers for the European shams, mattress covers and pillow 
protectors, as well as kitchen towels, potholders and aprons.

Basic Amenities:  The cottage is initially stocked with basic paper 
products, soaps, charcoal and lighter fluid for the BBQ.  We ask 
that you replace any items you may use up during your stay. 

What to Bring:  Bring bed sheets, bath linens and beach towels.  
Also think about bringing DVDs or videotapes, beach toys, kayaks and 
bicycles.  And don’t forget your camera!

Restrictions:  Geronomo is a no smoking cottage.  Pets of any kind 
may not be in or at the cottage for any period of time without prior 
written consent of the owner (and an additional deposit may be 
required).  No Jet skis, ATV's or other motorized recreational 
vehicles or watercraft may be used at or near the cottage.  There is 
no parking available for trailers, RVs or similar vehicles.

Located right on the shore of Lake Michigan in Good Hart 
Michigan, "Geronomo" is now taking reservations for 2007.  This is a 
comfortable 2 bedroom, 1.5 bath cottage with a loft and game room. 
It is available by the week from June through November.

Besides the beach, there are loads of things to do. Golf is 
available for duffers of all abilities. You can play the fantastic 
courses at Boyne Highlands, Chestnut Valley, Harbor Point Golf Club 
or just a round of mini-golf with the kids at Pirates Cove. The 
ferries to famous Mackinac Island are about 30 minutes away. If you 
like to cook, there are excellent farm markets including the Pond 
Hill Farm and Bill's Farm Market a few miles from Geronomo. And, of 
course, there's great shopping and restaurants nearby in Harbor 
Springs and Petoskey.

$1700 per week from Saturday to Saturday only.
