Our upstairs;  has three large, south facing bedrooms and a west 
facing master bedroom and bath.   The corner bedroom has a 
glorious view of sunrise over Mount Soledad.  Our corner lot 
assures you that there is natural light throughout the day and 
our  ten foot ceilings add a sense of quiet grandeur to  each 
room. Cable access is available throughout. 
Do you like cooking? Our large kitchen, with a brand new 
Thermidor gas stove/oven/griddle combination will help you cook 
your  gourmet meals to perfection.  Ample counter space, assures 
that you will  have plenty of room to work on multiple dishes and 
our new refrigerator is pretty big too.  There are more kitchen 
cabinets than even we know what to  do with. 
 If you like, we will also lend you our wonderful tabby for the 
month!  She loves everyone.  

Our home is one of the few true village homes remianing in 
downtown La Jolla.  Really, truly, it is close to everything you 
will need during your entire stay.  Parks, museums, grocery 
stores, reastaurants, beaches, bookstores.  Really, everything.  
Yet, it is quiet, private and absolutlely, delightfully relaxing 
in a very unimposing way.  
You will have access to; a full membership to La Jolla Tennis 
Club,  a fully equipped 24 hour gym, and the Coogan Aquatic 
complex. All are in the village and the first two are one block 
from our home.  La Jolla’s premier restaurants and grocery stores 
are also just a short walk so you won’t need to drive at all if 
you choose not to. Bike paths are nearby and you may use our two 
adult bikes and if you promise to take care of them our two 
children’s too.   Park you car for the summer and have some fun 
the old fashioned way. And don't forget to attend a wine tasting 
or two at Jonathan's (I am tired of saying it but one block away 
too.)  Shell Beach, Children’s Pool (where the seals lounge all 
day) and the famous La Jolla Cove and underwater sanctuary are a 
short walk from our home.  Snorkeling, kayaking and scuba diving 
should be a must if you come to La Jolla. Don't forget to check 
out La Jolla Caves by kayak.   Do you have children? Then you 
might be interested in knowing that Bishops day camp is just one 
block away.  Your children will have a great time swimming, 
playing sports and making friends at San Diego’s most exclusive 
day school.
