     Snug Haven features five fully furnished modern housekeeping 
cottages on all-sports Budd Lake. Our cottages sleep from 6 to 12 
people, depending on the unit you choose. All are within 60 feet of our 
private beach and docks. One cottage is partially handicapped accessible 
and one is completely accessible on the lower level. 
     All cottages have picnic tables and gas grills on private decks; 
some decks are covered. Cottages also have TVs, cable, and wireless 
internet. We provide linens and towels for your convenience. 
     Budd Lake is about one mile long and one-quarter mile wide. The 
lake is stocked with everything from pan fish (bluegill, red-eared 
sunfish, pumpkinseeds, rock bass) to sporting fish (both large-mouth and 
small-mouth bass) to walley to the granddaddy of them all, muskie!
     

     Our gorgeous sandy beach is nearly 300 feet long and 40 feet wide. 
We have a floating C-dock, which provides a protected swimming area for 
the little ones, two firepits, and a water slide at the water's edge. 
Water toys (e.g., paddlewheel boats, canoe, rowboats, kayaks) are 
available for guest use at no charge. We also rent modern, spacious 
pontoon boats to our guests.  With only five cottages, our beach and 
docks are never crowded.  There is even space for you to bring your own 
boat, if you are so inclined.

     Harrison is in the middle of the state and in the heart of Amish 
country. We are an easy drive to most scenic destinations in the lower 
peninsula.  Why pack and move from place to place when you could stay 
with us and drive to the Mackinaw Bridge, Soaring Eagle Casino, or 
Heartwick Pines? In truth, most of our guests arrive here and realize 
they have no reason to go anywhere else!

     We offer off-peak season discount rates and multiple-cottage 
discounts.  We also offer senior discounts and discounts for disabled
