Description
|
|
Koksetna Wilderness Lodge is located within the borders of L. Clark
National Park. We are 8 miles across the lake from the only town on
the lake, P. Alsworth. There are two guest log cabins on the lake
(Turner Bay) that are fully self-functioning. They consist of a
living room/kitchen, a toilet and two bedrooms. There are separate
bath houses nearby with conventional tubs/showers. We light the
steambath nightly.

Amenities |
|
Koksetna is very isolated and quiet. When a plane goes overhead we
are surprised. There are two greenhouses and an outside garden which
supply the owners and guests with fresh produce. One can rent a
boat/motor for $100./day plus gas. This allows our guests to explore
up the Chulitna River, Turner Bay & Chulitna Bay.

Attractions |
|
There are many fish sought by guests....N. Pike (Chulitna R. and
Turner Bay....right outside the guest cabins), Grayling (Chulitna R.),
L. Trout (Chulitna Bay and L. Kontrashibuna), and Red Salmon (L. Clark
and tributary rivers). Tanalian Falls is a very beautiful spot to
hike to...and fish in. Bird watching and animal watching are wonderful.
