Attractions |
|
Business travelers working in the Tech-Center, stay downtown and
leave the car in the garage. Denver's newly expanded light rail line
will now take you as far south as I-25 and Lincoln Avenue. There are
many stops along the way, including one at DU as well as one at I-25
and Colorado Boulevard. If you are working anywhere along South I-
25,
chances are there is a stop for you. The closest Light Rail station
is two blocks from your door right next to the Colorado Convention
Center. Walk to any downtown office or take the free mall shuttle,
which is a block away. Getting around is easier than you think.
Conventioneers, you only have to walk two blocks to the Colorado
Convention Center.
Theater patrons, the Denver Center for the Performing Arts complex
is
out your back door. If you are in the show or just here to see one,
you'll love the fact that it's only a block away.
Hitting the slopes? Once again leave the car in the garage and take
the train. This winter, the Ski Train kicks off its 67th year
transporting skiers and boarders to Winter Park. This is a train
ride
like no other. One of the many highlights along the way is 50 miles
west of Denver. This is where you will travel through the sixth
longest tunnel in the world running 6.2 miles long. Web site
available upon request.
Colorado has over 300 days of sunshine a year, so bring your
sunglasses and sunscreen, you'll need them!
