Tired Dog Ranch is your getaway from the dog-eat-dog world, even if you 
walk on two legs.  Chase your tail in the apple orchard, gnaw on a good 
bone in the pasture, or howl at the moon in the meadow.  If you’re dog-
tired, you can just sleep the day away or wake up your inner puppy in 
our cedar hot tub.  Teach an old dog new tricks in our pole barn with 
classes, retreats, and large pack gatherings.  Nestled on the edge of 
Willamette National Forest, Tired Dog Ranch offers you miles and miles 
of trails to hike, bike, and bark up plenty of trees.  And after a day 
of romping and roaming, you can cool off your tired paws in Gray Creek, 
named after Israel Gray, the founding Dogfather of this beautiful land.

Your cabin or yurt awaits you.  We’ll leave the lights on and your water 
bowl filled.

The Cowboy Cabin is made from all recycled materials and lassos you in 
with charm.  All artwork has been lovingly created by Oregon artists.  
Amenities include full kitchen; full bathroom with shower; satellite TV 
and DVD player; telephone for local calls and dial-up Internet access 
(using your dial-up account); and cozy, rustic, western furnishings.  
The Cowboy Cabin was built from nearly 100% recycled materials.

Farm-fresh eggs are provided daily by our lovely laying hens.  Gray 
Creek is a short walk from the Cowboy Cabin.  There are hundreds of 
miles of trails to hike, bike, and horseback ride.  We have 11 beautiful 
rescue horses who just adore the attention of visitors, as do our six 
silly goats who will follow you on a walk anywhere (as long as there 
isn't anything yummy distracting them).  In the winter, you may find the 
Cowboy Cabin covered in snow with billowing smoke galloping out the 
flue, most likely smelling of true cowboy coffee brewing on the 
woodstove.  In the summer, you may find the front door open, with 
dedicated cowgirls resting on the front porch after a trail ride in the 
woods.
