Our location is on 2 acres in a very small rural community which is 
adjacent to provincial forest land. The community is located 1 km 
south of Ymir near Highway 3A on the east side of the Salmo river.

Our A-frame was built from 1999-2001 with a lot of charactor. The 
downstairs has a roomy entry and a cozy kitchen/dining/living area 
with a fireplace and TV for watching videos.  There is a full modern 
kitchen including a dishwasher. The bathroom has a washer/dryer, a 
shower and a claw foot tub. There is an on demand water heater so 
everyone can bath with no worry of using up the hot water.  The two 
bedrooms are upstairs with a common room between them which could be 
used to sleep a couple of kids or good friends. Everyone who has 
spent the night here agrees that they wake up feeling well rested.  
We have games, puzzles and books for you to enjoy during your stay.

You can snowmobile or ski from the property. There is a multi-use 
rails to trail just across the Salmo river which follows the river 
and connects all the way to either Nelson or Salmo.  The historic 
town of Ymir is 1 km down the trail or highway.  Adjacent to 
provincial forest land popular with snowmobilers and back-country 
skiers.  The town of Nelson is a 20 minute drive. Ainsworth Hot 
Springs is a 1 hour drive (40 minutes past Nelson).

Our A-frame is only available for either a weekend rental 
(Friday/Saturday) OR for a weekly rental (from either Friday to 
Friday or Saturday to Saturday).
