WINTER ESCAPE ARTISTS-BIRDERS-HORSE HOTEL: stay at Mimi's
Place, where you will find a peaceful escape from civilization and
be treated with great care.
Hike out into State Lands where there are miles of trails awaiting
you, or just hang out on the 64'porch, where you will be transformed
by the ever shifting desert landscape, featuring a spectacular view
of the Santa Rita Mts.just 4 miles to the south. Stay in my
modest "periwinkle" guest room, which sleeps two, and has two full
baths to choose from, or fight over! Primitive camping is available
for those seeking adventure, or who really seek the desert for a
healing retreat. RV's are welcome with hookup for water and electric
only. Stable your horses overnight, and ride out safely into the
desert after breakfast. Ride for miles, rarely see another human,
catch the flight of great horned owls and several species of hawk.
Birders....only 10 miles from Madera Canyon, one of the richest and
most diverse bird habitats in the world.
