Grandee’s House of Solace (RR&R) was created with an holistic 
approach to a get-a-way that offers the relief of stress via natural 
healing of the mind through peace and a serene environment. Named 
after Doris “Grandee” Jennings (1919-1990) a women who dedicated her 
life to the service of others to provide comfort through a relaxing 
setting, with a smile, we the staff at Grandee’s House of Solace 
(RR&R) has continued that legacy by creating a Bed and Breakfast 
type setting that not only offering you a Bed and a Breakfast but 
opening our entire house to you and yours for the enjoyment  of  
spending time alone, with your spouse, significant other, friends 
and family or just relaxing with some time away. The only 
requirement is that you follow the 3 R’s (Rest Relax, Retreat)

The three bedrooms are decorated with watercolor scenes of well 
known areas of Calvert County. Hardwood floors throughout with 
tiled floors in the basement and two baths. The two-zoned stereo 
system allows kids to watch cable TV or DVDs in the recreation room 
downstairs while parents relax on the screened porch or outside 
listening to music from their favorite CDs or finishing that 
wonderful book you’ve started. You can walk to a private beach and 
situated on the Chesapeake Bay, entered through its famed "canopy" 
of trees. Strolling along the surf in bare feet at dawn or sunset 
with a cup of java or hot chocolate in your hand which is a sensual 
treat. Activities/attractions within a few miles include golf, 
biking, hiking, cinema, live music and a dozen excellent restaurants 
Full kitchen, sleeps six. Available on 
weekends and weekdays stays in October through April. Great 
Community for families with children or extended stay.

Book more 4 or more days up 7 and pay the rate of 4 days
Which mean if you book 5 days.....You pay the price of 4 days...If 
you book 6 days......that’s right you pay for 4......? And if you 
book for 7 days........Yes! You still only pay for 4 days... (Fall

Did I mention we will do your shopping for you? Just make out your 
grocery list and we will handle your shopping for you! Order and you 
can pay for it online and we will pick it up and have it stocked for 
you!
